Prolific. When all you want to use is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
This situation sounds really fucking shitty.

home court advantage means shit if you're getting beat down by multiple assailants. probably only one cop too, likely things moved too fast to get backup before the teen jumped into the fray.
the "what if" scenario proposed by the police union is 3 kinds of disgusting.
what if he took the officers weapons? fuckin really? where's the stun gun? night stick? mace?
surely your first fucking option on your utility belt can't be your firearm. fuck that shit.
i got no horse in this race but i'm trying to empathize with both sides of this cluster fuck situation. you got a pissed off family, a scuffle and a shooting. i'm trying to understand why, instead of going all lynch mob on the cop. the whole thing shouldn't have happened but as you say 'people are crazy as shit'. i got nothing more to add.for not knowing any of the facts, which we have to do in this ...era... hehe... you sure are painting a dramatic life or death struggle. Betting on the odds of cops lying... this wasn't a royal rumble with a suicidal family that knows police shoot you at the drop of a dime. But then again, after watching hours of a youtube public meltdown compilation... people are crazy as shit too.
Judges have a little red button under their desk to get more officers to their room at the drop of a hat. The truth is going to surface sooner or later, but initial reporting is usually hogwash.
Idk what's going on with their actual hand to hand training but there's no way that he would have even been able to reach for the gun if the officer was actually well trained. It's so easy to restrain someone, restraining a juvenile should have been no problem. Someone with basic Judo or Bjj training could have atleast taken him down long enough for ppl to come help.the "what if" scenario proposed by the police union is 3 kinds of disgusting.

And we see instances of incidents like this with grown ass men who are doing shit like this and cops managing to keep their shit together and not immediately reach for their gun. I'm also tired of hearing about every person's past history as of it somehow justifies a use of force in one situation but not another. Especially as a juvenile. An unarmed juvenile. Charge him for assaulting an officer fine. Killing him isn't justice and doing so under the guise of his history doesn't help. So when king reports he attacked a guy who pushed his mother, i fail to see the relevance of his past when those with similar backgrounds make it out unscathed. And an officer being the first to instigate the situation is why the point of emphasis is on the kid responding, not an attempt to obscure the conversation.pre-emptivelg saying that the kid shouldnt have been shot and its sad.
In this particular instance, King says on his twitter, the cop pushed the mother against the wall, and the kid "intervened."
Everyone in the US should know to never touch a cop when theyre doing something(even wrongful things) to someone else
The kid apparently went to court for choking his mother, his mother dropped the charges.
The kid has an issue with being violent and pointing his mother's gun at people in public.
King wants you to be upset that the kid placed his hands on an officer, which led to the "scuffle" the grandmother claims happened without her grandson touching the cop.
King wants you to give people a chance despite their history.
A few tweets later hes implying that a consenting porn star shouldnt have trusted Ben Rothlesberger to walk her back to a hotel room after she left Trump. Ben has a history of issues with women.
He cherrypicks his opinions that benefit his audience. In this case, the followers who foam at the mouth for anti-police and anti-Trump news.
He aligned himself with questionable people in the Young Turks recently.
He's done some great things for the original Black Lives Matter movement, and his Ferguson reporting. I personally don't think his work is in the right place anymore.
"He is there to protect every person in the courthouse including himself", Mr Ferrell continued, adding that "countless" people could have lost their lives if the suspect had taken the officer's weapons.
A racist against blacks, gun toting caucasian, an asian woman and a black woman all walk out of a room that a black male was murdered in while all three were in the room. And we see instances of incidents like this with grown ass men who are doing shit like this and cops managing to keep their shit together and not immediately reach for their gun. I wouldn't presume. Further if we want to talk about a history of violence the instituton of the police in this country was literally founded on chasing down black people for prisoner leasing and continue to disproportionatly target African americans. So honestly even in your scenario it would be pretty up in the air between which individual with the violent history was at fault there.A racist against blacks, gun toting caucasian, an asian woman and a black woman all walk out of a room that a black male was murdered in while all three were in the room.
Which of the three would you suspect likely commited the crime? The one with the history and obsession, or the other two?
