Goddamn, the Boichi one-shot is blowing my mind. Boichi is so talented. The insane amount of details he puts into everything from wood to clouds is amazing.
He can think Orochi is too much of an asshole and still think that is amusing.
I'd be down for a mega One Piece redraw.
One artist every volume. So over 100 artists when all is said and done.
Reading that one shot just makes me believe more and more that Mihawk's blade turned black from his haki.

Logistically, I don't think such a thing would be possible.
However, having the entire crew's early day defining moments redrawn by other artists is something I can get behind.
Honestly I'd love it if we could get a "over 100 animators redraw the first episode of One Piece" video. Always love watching those. It's amazing watching the contrast of people who did a joke and people that went ham.
I've actually been thinking about that for a bit. I'd love to do a community redraw of chapter 1 (or whatever). Would be fun.

That filler sure was hot garbage! I mostly had it as background noise tbh, which makes a case for why am I even bothering with filler if im not paying attention (mostly to look up whenever I hear Usopp or Franky talk really). Animation was actually good too, especially compared to some enies lobby eps, which isnt a first with filler arcs and its annoying when canon stuff looks like crap.
