- Shinobu in full bitch eating crackers mode when it comes to Law lmao
I feel like Oda would have foreshadowed something. Like Usopp calling them or something. Granted the fleet showing up would be hype as all hell, but surely we would have something if they were coming.
52. Big Mom and Kaido will form a tentative peace treaty - TheGreatDirector CORRECT
24. Wano will turn out to be in a different "place" than normal (might be underwater, in a mountain, inside hollow earth, etc.) - Big One WRONG
104. Momo will be the one to wield Enma against Kaido. - Imperial Bishop WRONG
Carrot's expression felt strange there especially for the first on panel sighting of her in months
OK before we even get into shit, am I losing it or is Bege at fucking Dressrosa?!
Hmm, honestly you're right Lotus but I'm just kinda bracing myself for some form of fuckery and in that whole chapter, two of my all time favs were looking a certain kind of ways and I'm just "Oda please, not them."
Am I tripping or is that random Law panel in the last page kind of imply he is the traitor?
Something is obviously squirrelly about Hiyori
Well, more than before
Why Oda directed him there specifically is strange though. Lotus said it best: all the interesting players native to the island are away at the Reverie. Unless a third party shows up to the island I don't see why he's meant to be there. All the weapons Doflamingo was shipping out were destroyed.
The spy we've assumed to in the alliance since Zou is definitely sniffing around again. They haven't warned Orochi that Udon was taken over however, so they're only aware of certain movements on the alliance side. Everyone is pointing fingers at Inu right now but I honestly have no idea who it could be. Neko's delay is probably for some grand reveal where a whole bunch of allies show up all at once.Ah too many questions..
How did Orochi know about Hiyori and the port? Probably the same mink traitor from Zou, but Carrot has been out of the picture for a while now... Could be Inuarashi somehow?!
I thought Neko would've arrived before the raid.. Weird that they didn't even acknowledge his absence.
What's Law up to? I'm getting anxious..
The revelations about Zoro's swords were hype af. Zoro's master is probably the descendant of the famous Smith. Enma is crazy, and it's certainly a curious timing for a Zoro power up.. Wonder what is Oda planning for him this arc..
It's becoming harder and harder to believe they'll win the Battle and Onigashima (that's what it'll be called, quote me on that). Even if the say, get 10,000 allies there's still the whole Big Mom crew waiting patiently outside of Wano. Hell, who knows if she decided to call in reinforcements from Whole Cake as well. Not to mention the mysterious contact Kaido got to replace Joker.I see no way that the rebels win this. A monumental ass kicking is coming their way, especially since this chapter does not show that they know that Big Mom has allied with Kaido.
Also Sanji with a new suit and Zoro with a new sword, both better get good fights Oda. I'm talking pre-timeskip strawhat fights.
It's weird the way that's worded though. I feel like, looking through all the cover stories, the alliance hasn't necessarily increased in strength the way it implies.
If you had any doubts that they won't show up and stir up shit
- Wtf, Bege made it to Dressrosa? I honestly don't know what to expect from this if anything, as all the interesting parties (Rebecca, Kyros, King Reku, Leo) are currently at the Reverie. Does Dressrosa have anything valuable I'm forgetting about?
- Aww, it's so adorable seeing all the Scabbards, including Ashura, tear up over learning Hiyor's still alive. Also adorable is learning she used to be a tomboy, I look forward to seeing more of that characterization in the eventual flashback.
- We finally learn who Hitetsu was waiting for: Oden's children. I think it's weird that he's only saying something when Momo's been around for awhile, but whatever, time and place I guess.
- Oden's swords both sound so badass.
- I've seen people be surprised that neither of the blades are supreme grade. What do y'all think about it?
- So Zoro has currently lost interest in Nidai due to Enma, while Momo is too scared to use his awesome sword. Alright then, I'm not impatient or anything... :P
- I find it interesting that Oden's swords were not only made by two different people, but that Enma continues to get way more hype in comparison. Enma's the only blade that wounded Kaido, and now we learn that only Oden was capable of wielding it. It also makes it sound all the more strange that Hiyori, a woman, received what is seemingly the more impressive blade. So what, if any, special ability does the Ame-No-Habakiri (That's a mouthful) possess?
- I can't wait to see Zoro using Enma for the first time animated
- While we've slightly flirted with the concept with cursed blades, Enma is the first sword (excluding swords that utilize DF abilities) that has an noticeable ability/side effect of its own, and I find that fascinating. I won't lie, I was still a little butthurt over Shusui being given away, but knowing that Enma has more going for it than just mere hype makes it infinitely easier to swallow. It actually ended up being an exciting power-up that admittedly is setup to be more interesting than Shusui ever was moving forward. And that's ignoring that it can also become a black blade...
- The Shogun being escorted by 10,000 men seems excessive af, but what do I know
- I know people will make jokes about how 30,000 isn't a big deal when CoC is a thing, but I highly doubt that the 30,000 enemy force is going to be all grouped up in one place lol
- Franky conveniently making ships for a maximum of 10,000 people. Yup, the Grand Fleet is definitely showing up. Granted, if they come to Wano, wouldn't they have their own ships? Hmm...
- It feels so odd seeing Gear 4 used under the context of training.
- Shinobu in full bitch eating crackers mode when it comes to Law lmao
- Like the little narrator boxes as Momo and the Scabbards trek across the wasteland, it's a nice touch.
- I did not expect Pedro to get a grave here of all places, that was a pleasant surprise. At the same time, I'm a little disappointed, I expected a good bit of dialogue and such when the Minks were informed of his death. Well, at least it further solidifies that he's actually dead.
- I feel that the mention of Shimotsuki Kouzaburo is basically spelling out to us that it is indeed Koshiro, not Zoro, who has ancestry in Wano. Guess we'll see.
- Orochi knowing about the change in ports is one thing, but knowing where Hiyori is? I'm now 105% on board with the traitor theory.
- And that's a wrap on Act 2, just like that.

Amazing transition chapter, didn't expect to write so much, I love One Piece D:
Think it's Oda wanting the reader to think thatAm I tripping or is that random Law panel in the last page kind of imply he is the traitor?
We literally only know of two of them now and one hasn't even been seen yet.
Probably but it seems really weird to me that right after Orochi gets inside info from the possible traitor we get a random menacing Law panel :D
Huh, I didn't know about the Whitebeard one. Maybe we can assume Shanks' weapon is one as well?
I get the feeling they're going to end up with 10,000 of Orochi's men pretty soon. That plus the grand fleet should match Kaido.
Except you're forgetting Big Mom and her crew.I get the feeling they're going to end up with 10,000 of Orochi's men pretty soon. That plus the grand fleet should match Kaido.
WHERE DOES THE LURKING LEGEND COME IN
IS IT NOW OR A LATER ARC?
Why would Orochi's men side with the Straw Hats?
I still think Whitebeard Pirates will end up coming. I don't think Oda would've wrote that subplot of Neko trying to recruit them if they were just going to refuse like that.

Oh fuck, I forgot about that too.WHERE DOES THE LURKING LEGEND COME IN

AAAAAA
This is too intense for me man I can't hack it what a cliffhanger
You don't find this whole deal with her going out of the way to not meet with anyone a little off?

It was a kinda slow start, but the gameplay got interesting.
if her job is to make things harder for the alliance she's done a pretty shit job of itYou don't find this whole deal with her going out of the way to not meet with anyone a little off?

Pudding about to rescue Hiyori. The only thing that bugs me about Hiyori going off alone is that there's a 105% chance of being kidnapped now that Orochi knows she's alive. I can't deal with another damsel kidnapping subplot.
Oh, and once tha anime gets to this point; Shinobu is going to be more unpopular than Flampe. Community is NOT going to like her hating on Law.
Flampe was designed to be hateable, Shinobu's just dumping on the #2 (#3?) most popular character in the series.
