Are the T-Mobile models different from the unlocked models in terms of bloat, branding, and updates, or is it the same?
How is Tmobile in general, I've been using straight talk but my phone broke, and while I could buy the phone outright and stay with them, I think i should just save the money and switch to Tmobile for this, I had an s7 edge so not like my phone was new, I just want a phone that will last me another 2 - 3 years.
I suppose that's true. 🤔Hey, at least with the pop up camera you don't have to worry about the Chinese government spying on you when you rub one out.
It has basically the same internals as the Pro - including the UFS storage - plus the improved in-screen fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and main camera sensor, but it's missing the 90hz display, telephoto and ultrawide camera lenses, and obviously the pop up camera. So what's the deal with the regular 7?
Does it have any of the perks of the Pro, like the 90hz screen?
How? Every single review mentions it. Unless you mean articles talking about how amazing it is in which case it's nothing special.
If your design choices warrants a mechanical pop-up camera, it's the wrong call.
The Issue I have with recent OnePlus is that after one month Samsung Flagship phones drops down to the same price which is an incredible value. So it's better to wait a month and get an s10 than this
Buying the Tmobile version makes no sense IMO. You're paying extra sales tax for a locked version of the phone with a (potentially) more irregular update schedule. And no, you can't activate it on an MVNO.so i doubt i will get any answer here or if anybody knows BUT, my thing is:
As the first (and maybe only, as it's a waste of $) flagship phone I'm buying day One, I want this ASAP. If I can get it Friday at the Tmobile store, yes that would be better than waiting two days for shipping from the website.
$190 for my OnePlus5? Holy shit. Sign me the fuck up. I was on the fence about getting a Pro but getting almost 200 bucks off for my old phone is a crazy good deal to me
Very impressive specs for the price but too big for my tastes. Don't love the blue back. MKBHD says battery is pretty average.
Anything less than the 6 seems pointless to trade in. If/when I can get my 7, I will keep my old 3T as a backup, since it's still a great phone. So just out of curiosity I was looking at the trade-in option for the 7 pro from my 5t, and it's basically saying I'd get ÂŁ80 off for it. Is it just me or is that basically pittance? Even if I had the best 6 I could trade in the value is only ÂŁ130.
The design's basically the same, but the processor, storage speed, fingerprint sensor, camera and speakers have all received substantial upgrades. My oneplus 3 is dying so i have to buy another phone.
How much better a oneplus 7 is compared with a 6t??
So this is officially launched 21st in the UK right? As in, will it appear as my 02 upgrade then?
The oneplus stuff tends to do it to future proof more. 12 Sounds like too much now but in a year or two, it will seem like a good amount to deal with day to day stuff. Sure the 8 is still probably fine for ages as well.Is there really a need for 12GBs of RAM? I'm tempted to get that one cause it's only $50 more but the 8GB/256 just seems more practical.
Watching the reviews it looks like some reviewers got the headphones and car chargers in their packages and others didn't. Is that exclusive to review units or one of the RAM/storage combo?
Country?I ordered the 7 Pro 12/256 in Nebula Blue variant the minute it went live.
Should receive it next week according to the confirmation I got.
I will still keep my now 5-years old OnePlus One as backup because I can still have some use for it.
(Also for my save files in some games that don't support transfer)
I'm pretty tempted to get the 5G model of that (out soon), since it has the 855 cpu. Any reason you want to switch away?

Mi 3 has great camera and more cool factor.
Do you have any other phone on you so you can compare sizes and share screens with us?I've been playing around with this at work. Just a couple of things for those of you considering it. It's huge and heavy plus you slap a cover and a screen protector on there and it obviously makes it more so. No water resistance and the camera is not that great but for that price point I'd recommend it over just about any other Android unless camera quality is the most important thing to you like it is to to me.

I have this same dash charging issue with my 5T, incidentally. Really gotta jiggle that cable to get it to kick in sometimes. My 5T is still going mostly strong (the charging port sometimes has trouble getting dash charging) . So for now I won't get a new one.
It's bigger than the S10+, iPhone XS Max and my P30 pro granted the screen is 6.6 inches. In terms of weight it's definitely heavier than my P30 pro and it seems heavier than the 10+ and XS MaxDo you have any other phone on you so you can compare sizes and share screens with us?

Clean the port with a toothpick. I had the same problem. There's impacted lint hiding in there.I have this same dash charging issue with my 5T, incidentally. Really gotta jiggle that cable to get it to kick in sometimes.
I have to imagine this is a systemic issue with the phone. But yeah, otherwise I have no complaints with its performance.
Mostly for the screen size. But the Mi Mix 3 is almost perfect. I take that back I'm keeping my phone lolI'm pretty tempted to get the 5G model of that (out soon), since it has the 855 cpu. Any reason you want to switch away?
I honestly think some reviews are hit pieces (but enough of my tin foil hat conspiracy theories). It is very stable @ 1080p and and the video quality at night is superb 2nd to none. @4k it's not nearly as good and it shoots @ 30fps. No 60 to available @4kHow's the p30 pro with video? It's a deal breaker for me after watching a whole bunch of reviews
Ah that's reassuring - thanks for the clarification!Mostly for the screen size. But the Mi Mix 3 is almost perfect. I take that back I'm keeping my phone lol
