Is this shitting on book fans or something? It's just to be expected that a book with several hundred pages will be more thorough in making plot points happen than a six episode season.
If anybody wants a very quick summary of how it ends with the info thats been leaked all combined, here it is:
- Dany kills Varys for betraying her.
- Dany surprise attacks Euron and KL.
- She burns all the balistas and burns the front gates.
- Her army rushes in and Cerseis army surrenders. Oh and I think Harry Strickland and the GC bail lol.
- She hears the surrender bells and it makes her more angry so she starts killing everything.
- Her army goes wild and starts raping and killing the city.
- The Hound dies fighting his bro.
- Jon fights and kills Greyworm.
- Jaime and Cersei die by getting crushed under the red keep or by wild fire? Not 100% about this one.
- Jon kills Dany.
- Drogon flies away with her body
- Tyrion trial might still happen and he is executed. Not 100% confirmed.
- Bran king/ president. Bronn(!) Davos, Sam on council. Sansa Queen of the north, Araya bails on westeros.
- Jon goes to live with the wildlings in the north. This was actually filmed and its the closing scene.
That is the final 2 episodes in a nutshell. Oh and people are speculating by D&D's playlist, which said it would reveal what happens in this season, that Dany is resurected as the Night Queen. No trolling this is pretty much what most of the leaks add up to.
I love the show and the books (probably the latter more than the former at this point <_<) but I've kinda cringed seeing some folks saying "the books will do this" and "the books won't do this" and "the books will do this but better" and so forth because what books.
I hope you didn't read the books too, because for those of us who did this might be the only closure we ever get. What a shitty way to end a show that was so great....
Can't believe I invested so much time into something that would turn to literal shit....
Dany burning Varys alive seems like bullshit, but I buy Grey Worm snapping.
The leaks are flooding in and everything is getting confirmed. It's all true. I've been a believer of Friki for a while, but he's gotten some wrong info.Or you're choosing what you want to believe. There's still a ton of shit up in the air and almost every leak contradicts something in another leak. Frikidoctor is still the most trustworthy.
I called bullshit too, and last episode was 100% spot on by the leakers.
Yes. He leaked the details about last episode before it aired. Not just basic plot points, but details.
How does Daenerys surprise attack King's Landing? In the preview, they can hear her coming.

I'm pretty sure we have no concrete proof about Varys or Tyrion dying.

TWOW would come out even if something happened to George tomorrow, so I dunno what the point of pretending we'll never get anything is.

I hope Euron has one last gasp of air so he can shoot down Drogon, making him drop Daenerys' body into the sea. Fucking credits.

I understand what you're saying, and in a way you're right because we don't have books to compare it to. But Martin has over a million words of proof (purely my own estimate, I think reasonable estimate) that he is a good writer. D&D seemingly can't even write when they're given source material AND the main plot points. The connective tissue matters
Who is going to reveal this betrayal to Daenerys in the middle of a battle?
Who is going to reveal this betrayal to Daenerys in the middle of a battle?
Yeah, it really does.
Gods be good, I'm sorely mistaken and A Dream of Spring gets published.

This is amazing. I just cant anymore lol.Oh God, one of the leakers just revealed more info for ep5. They are DESTROYING her charcater and even Greyworm too! Fuck!!!!

She got a thread going
Or maybe it's just these four (for now)
Let's be honest, guys. Most television shows fuck up the final season. Usually they fuck up because they have no idea how to end and the ending is boring.
This show, when it's bad is garishly, offensively bad.
What did you think was going to happen?
literally I am fucking dead"Cersei forgot about Dany" - D&D
We all deal with grief differently, some want to force this garbage onto others.

Most television shows don't get two years to do the last six episodes
They had extra time and fucked it up extra hard
She literally tells him that last season.

seriously hoping that leak is true
the reactions are going to be hilarious
The leaker from where the current info is coming from leaked stuff last season on Freefolk, thats why people belive what he says. He has legit sources. He's also confirming the other leaks that state the whole ending.Episode 4 definitely leaked before hand. Im just not convinced that means the last 2 did as well. At least to the same person.
The Expanse is really great. The authors of the book actually work on the show and from what I've heard, they made some great changes from the book to the screen.I know the writing was not as good as the first 4 seasons, but this is too much. Season 7 was already having issues wirh writing writing and fast pace, but this is just obviously rushed and bad. It's Walking Dead territory now to be honest.
I might look into Lost Kingdoms or The Expanse as my next shows to watch since i heard good things about them.
