I'm surprised so many people just watched it seeing how anybody playing the game could experience it for themselves.

And there's always the chance of some dickhead killing you during the event.
It was nearly impossible to die if you were just floating around in the wind vortex until the cube exploded.

There was 85 people alive in my game when the cube started going off.

I don't understand Fortnite because I'm an old out of touch fogey, but props to everyone who's making bank off of playing videogames for a living.
It's a competitive third-person shooter from the people that made Gears of War, except with some Minecraft-esque building elements and Battle Royale. Not anything too crazy.
