People work hard for their spots on their teams. I would sacrifice diversity for the best possible Overwatch gameplay.
Well if you read and were able to comprehend my post you'd see that I said everything OWL related, not just the players on the teams. That includes broadcasters, streamers, commentators, contributors, pretty much anyone you see in regards to the OWL, not even counting the teams, is either a White or Asian male. Try to comprehend text before you post some ignorant garbage like that again, thanks!

Nate Nanzer did comment on it. From the snippet of the interview I'd say Nanzer is aware of it and apparently there are plans to do something, though specifically what the plan is to encourage more engagement among women and other minorities is not detailed. Has the league improved? Very, very slightly IMO - Washington did hire AVALLA as a coach, which is at least something. Could it be improved? Absolutely, one hiring for a major position doesn't absolve the issue. Is it still at least 95% white/Asian and male? Probably. Whatever that "40% of the core team is women" stat for OWL is doesn't really have much context behind it.
Thank you for the information, that's actually really good to hear and way more initiative from them than I would expect, acknowledgment and planned things is pretty refreshing to see at least in the pipeline.
