I'll be disappointed if we don't get Ultra Instinct Jjonak memes by the end of Season 2
Jjonak: You know, contrary to popular belief, I actually used 98% of my power to win season 2 of overwatch league.
Interviewer: 98%? Guess it took most of your power then huh?
Jjonak: Who said my limit was at 100?

Welp. New OP looks okayish. I feel like I could do better. I'll see what else I can add.

Anyone have a good subtitle for the thread? My Symmetra one sucked and this one about B.O.B. is the truth but got no reaction from the posters here so I think it's best if one of you all get to decide haha.

You know what. It's time to throw down. No more power rankings about where the teams are right now in the here and now, let's talk what you're betting the pecking order will look like by the end of the season. I'm going to place my bets now and eat shit later bask in how right I was at the end. Want to eat shit with me place your bets? Here's a tool to do so via drag and drop.

And some specific spicy bold takes:

* Flower's pre-OWL hype becomes a meme by the end of the season, despite performing ok overall
* The meta becomes triple DPS with the third DPS slot being a flex by either the flex support or flex tank and Seagull's retirement becomes a rallying cry of disappointment for Fuel fans in what could have been scenarios
* DPS and Flex Support players start playing Hammond in lieu of a DPS, Hammond skills become 'sexy' for prospective DPS players to have. DPS are expected to regularly be able to flex onto Hog, Zarya and Hammond. Hammond gets nerfed towards the end of the Season
* Flex Tank becomes a role that requires filling on all three roles thanks to D.Va nerfs. 3rd DPS player in many scenarios but also plays a good bit of Brig and Hammond. A handful of Flex Tanks will distinguish themselves by playing 'unusual' roles for Flex Tank such as Mercy, Widowmaker, Tracer, Mei, and Symmetra. Nenne is the most distinguished Flex Tank in terms of performance. Nevix fans riot at the loss of the title
* London continues to suffer from inconsistencies and Birdring takes the brunt of the blame without wrist injuries to deflect. Team Performs well but doesn't perform like Season 1 NYXL causing castors and fans alike to remain utterly confused that the roster with the most raw talent in the League is incapable of regularly delivering on their potential. Conspiracy theories blame Birdring, team coordination, the coaches, sandbagging, Monte's porn mustache, and the permabenched players. London becomes Season 1 Philly where they can take games off anybody but fuck knows if they will that day
* The hero after Ashe will be another Orissa, Doomfist or Hammond in that they receive a largely positive reception but show little impact in the League. Pros won't use them regularly until someone in Contenders or Open Division does it for them first too safe fuck that
* Dafran and Erster are the hottest DPS rookie duo on the block and are some of the 'worst' players on their team. Atlanta goes to the playoffs

EDIT:
* Hammond becomes the most role-neutral character in the game and there's a notable undercurrent of pro players that believe that 3+ players should be able to flex to Hammond. People begin arguing about 'What characters every pro should be able to play at a pro level'. Castors start talking about the universality of the Hamster. The only constant in people that believe in this idea is Hammond. People make cases for Mei, Tracer, Widowmaker, Lucio, and Roadhog in an attempt to 'add to the conversation'.

Okay I think I've chose the title for the OP.

I'm only waiting to see if people will volunteer to write something about their favorite team but so far I only have two people lol.

I feel I need to clarify I'm not married, it was literary exaggeration.

My heart only has room for all of you. Edit: Apart from Optimus.

literally I didn't believe you for one fucking second until I saw other people being sympathetic and I was like "maybe I shouldn't be a dick before I know for sure"

Sweet! I'll let you know when it's about to be published!

It's ready now, all I needed to do was switch it from editable to comment-only.

Aw man Jam was lying? Hmm...I guess I could leave out who were the champions for S1...

Awesome good to know thank you!

At the end I didn't know which team to root for haha.

Haha well there is a degree of truth in there, but how much? That will remain a secret.

And I won't stand for revisionist propaganda. The champions are the champions.

Has anyone seen Jam's wife who mysteriously disappeared right before overwatch league starts 🤔
