'Burnout' as a franchise has existed since the first Criterion-developed/Acclaim-published game launched in 2001 on PS2. In terms of success, 2004's 'Burnout 3: Takedown' (EA-published from here on in) is the biggest-seller both as week 1 and cumulative, claiming No1 in week 37, 2004. The only other game in the series to claim No1 was 2005's follow-up 'Burnout Revenge'. Nintendo's 'Kirby Star Allies' for Switch debuts at No2 and becomes the most successful launch for a Kirby title, of which there have been 19 dating back to SNES/Gameboy releases in 1996 – prior to this week the highest week 1 chart record was jointly held by 2 games: No15 for 3DS 'Kirby Triple Deluxe' (Wk20, 2014) and No15 for 3DS 'Kirby: Planet Robobot' (Wk23, 2016). EA's 'FIFA 18' drops to No3. Capcom re-enter at No13 with 'Devil May Cry HD Collection' thanks to PS4/Xbox One versions. Maximum Games' 'Beast Quest' debuts at No35 for PS4/Xbox One.

Was there a bomba sale for Sonic Forces ?

Grats to Kirby, did better than i expected. Its not for me but good to have a non-Mario 2D plattformer performing solid.

The huge split difference for Burnout (not a PS franchise, hell I don't think Revenge ever got a PS3 port did it?) might be because the game is BC on Xbox and this remaster doesn't seem to have done much different?

Dunno about UK since I don't live there anymore, but in Spain I've seen it as low as €14 in-store

Isn't the position Forces is in like a really low number? How is that selling decent?

Also is the UK the only place pubg is available for Xbox?

It's like Burnout was a japanese niche game all along
More likely because of the full 10 hour trial on EA Access (which is more Burnout Paradise than I wanted to play anyway), and the fact that it'll hit the Vault in 6 months.

Do we have numbers on EA Access? Curious to see how many people have it on PC and XB1.
Anecdotally, everyone I know who owns a XBO has EA Access, but curiously none of them (except me) have Game Pass. EA Access is definitely huge on the XBO - between the full 10 hour trials (which include achievements) and the Vault it means I never have to buy an EA game again.

EA Access also let's you play FIFA early. Great service seller in the UK.

Individual formats chart has 5 Nintendo titles in the top 10, software is getting stronger and stronger in the UK for N.

Question, I have not followed these threads but other sales thread I have read there has been statement that Switch is not doing that great in UK. However Switch has 4 games in the top 10, even more if we look at the value chart.

That doesn't look like a console that is struggling, so what am I missing?

The Switch hardware is doing really good... But some games sold bad at launch, especially some third party games. Still doing pretty good overall.

Switch is selling pretty damn well in EU, it's not on Playstation level but that's almost impossible in the European Union.

Real shame Kirby sold out so quickly. Nintendo underestimated demand?

Amazon UK says they will have Kirby in stock on March 23 and GAME only offers the digital version as it's sold out there as well. Looks like Nintendo indeed underestimated the demand for this game but considering Kirby was never that big in the UK I don't really blame them heh.

Been quite a few racing games released recently. Can't say I'm interested at full price, but Isle of Man TT, Burnout, Gravel, all on my radar when they go on sale.

Sonic Forces has been in or around the top 40 since launch in November. It's doing a ton better than Lost World which fell off the charts never to return thanks to being a Wii U exclusive (the PC version came much later). Forces is cheap and the UK still remember Sonic fondly.

Mania Plus is going to be interesting to see if a quality boxed Sonic game can sell better than a mediocre 3D budget title. According to SEGA if digital sales counted Mania would have been a number 1 seller by some margin last summer.
