It wont have massive first week sales - it might turn into something bigger thanks to it legs and word of mouth but people need to stop compared it to traditional AAA first party releases.

No, I haven't seen anything at all, apart from banners in Tesco and other places that'll sell the game, and then again I haven't been watching any children shows on TV where I'd imagine it'll be universally focused on.
Biggest IP Sony owned is different from the biggest game in the world, it is also funny that you only mention GTS and ignore the rest of the games below PUBG.
It would be on children or family oriented networks. That's how it is in the US and Japan anyways.
Need I remind you both, bundles and pricecuts are responsible for PUBG and GTS high placement on the charts.
Indeed, my anecdotal evidence doesn't amount to much but I thought I'd give what little I could. I would be very surprised if I did see it on the side of a bus or a bus stop, I wouldn't even know how you'd advertise this concept in this way.
Well in Japan all static displays on buses or subways are literally just a screenshot of what of the various LABO projects.
PUBG is one of the biggest games in the world, what an odd comment, and what does it have to do with GT Sport? I mean what a bizarre comparison.
Why wouldnt it sell in retail ?
One of the biggest games of the gen console Xbox exclusive as of now.
So ? Its the only retail option.
PSN/XBL cards also sell in retail stores even though could just buy/charge your account directly via creditcard/paypal etc.
Especially for younger gamer without CC access it might be easier to just get the retail version.
I think it is as many other people did also when it was announced it was gonna have a retail option for a game preview game. It was even laughed at in the beginning.
And it being in the top 10 constant since release, even when in game preview, bad talk about performance and digital only game. I think its pretty impressive,

Not really. Not until we got some numbers people finally saw that it was a smart idea from MS to make a retail option. :)
Remember there were people who said PUBG wouldnt sell at all on Xbox haha.
There was a Labo ad this morning around 7:45am during Good Morning Britain, it was a good advert, a lot better than the cringe worthy Mario Kart and 1 2 Switch adverts.
Yes, I have just double-checked and that is indeed the case. Bit weird there's a week delay there but at least I stand corrected now.
