God of War second week drop (-35%) in the UK.

Nintendo Labo debuted at 3rd position.

God of War LTD after 2 weeks should be now very close to Horizon: Zero Dawn if God of War sold over 88,000 units first week.

[Week 16, 2018] God of War > 88,000
[Week 17, 2018] God of War > 57,000 / 145,000 (-35%)

[Week 09, 2017] Horizon: Zero Dawn - 114,000
[Week 10, 2017] Horizon: Zero Dawn - 46,000 / 160,000 (-60%)

Woah. That's amazing.

Can't wait for Sony to post sales numbers for God of War

Quite amazing for GoW there, its WoM is very good, even I'm gonna end up picking it up soon and I don't care about the series at all.

And what the heck is he talking about with that LABO 'judged on the coming weeks'? Did he not read the thread here that was posted over the last 24 hours about its opening week sales in Japan? :)

First week only 2 days of tracking and some supply shortages = just a 35% drop.
Impressive!

Utterly fantastic hold for GOW, just wow. So happy to see SSM getting rewarded for this masterpiece.

So now we know GOW did fantastic in UK and Spain. Man if there was a way to find numbers from other countries :(

I was expecting God of War to have a better start than a "new franchise" as Horizon. That's a bit surprising.

That said that small drop indicates a long seller run. Great stuff !

That's great. I really hope this game sells well, the staff at Santa Monica deserve all the bonuses and recognition they can get. It may well be the best game I've ever played.

UC4 did -78% in second week of its first week 192k, so 42k.

Horizon did -60% in second week of its first week (but I can't find that number), maybe someone knows an estimate for the first week? Anyway, -60% is a very good hold for a tuesday release.
Code:
[Week 16, 2018] God of War > 88,000
[Week 17, 2018] God of War > 57,000 / 145,000 (-35%)

[Week 09, 2017] Horizon: Zero Dawn - 114,000
[Week 10, 2017] Horizon: Zero Dawn - 46,000 / 160,000 (-60%)

from Bruno MB

Keep in mind that ZhugeEX said the numbers are slightly higher for God of War.

Phew, when you put that 35% hold against UC4 and HZD's 2nd week holds that really shows some serious staying power

the only conclusion i can made from all these is.............

Sony 1st party titles are really growing..

Horizon post huge numbers for an all new single player IP.

GoW as a franchise grew.

Uncharted grew to become a true blockbuster.

One can only imagine what sort of numbers The Last Of Us Part 2 will post.

TLOU2 will be a massive game. Considering how incredible the first one is, and how well the reception has been, even years later, no. 2 is set to explode. It should become the biggest first party game of the generation imo.

Disappointing opening by Labo, but it certainly will be interesting to see where it can go from here. Great hold by GoW, could it be an effect of the high metacritic? Also wow at the 5/5 even split in the top 10 between PS4 and Switch in Spain, even with last year games. Switch "caught up" in lightning speed.

Guys, how much did Far Cry 5 did in first week?

The drop percentage for it was -69%

There's a chance that GOW second week numbers are higher to even FC5's second week numbers :D

35% is insane for an established franchise. Even more so when it's a single player game. With that type of WoM GoW will absolutely smash 10M world wide.

Well, the Switch line-up consists of last year's games mostly, so it is understandable,,,

U4 topped the individual charts for a couple of months. Let's see if God of War can repeat the feat.

Not really. The concept of the console and the solid marketing makes its desirable object still, and most people buy Nintendo platforms to play their games...Which other titles were you expecting to see chart?
I wanted to say games like MHW, SotC, but then I noticed all the PS4 games that aren't Far Cry 5 are from last year as well. Spain just really likes old games.

GoW's sales will be much more US centric than Horizon's sales were, so that it is basically on par with Horizon now in the UK and that it debuted almost double of Horizon in Spain indicates that it will sell notably higher worldwide than Horizon out the gates. Let's see when Sony give us a worldwide PR announcement.
