Sony's PS4 'God of War' holds on for a third consecutive week at No1.

It is the first time since 'The Last of Us: Remastered' that a Sony published game has managed 3 consecutive weeks at No1. Nintendo jump in to the charts at No2 with 'Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze' a re-entry thanks to its launch on Switch. Following the success of the recent Avengers film, continued price promotion on 'Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2' has it re-enter the Top 10 at No6. Retailer price drop on 'Sea of Thieves' gives it renewed life as it bounces from No17 back to No11. Nintendo's 'Labo Toy-Con 01: Variety Kit' falls out of the Top 10, down to No13, while the more expensive 'Robot Kit' drops out of the Top 40.

God of War doing pretty well. I expected Labo to do a lot better

If I am seeing this right, there is nothing that should beat God of War until the 28th (25th is the release of Dark Souls and Detroit: Become Human).

Great to see TF outselling the WiiU version - it should have better legs and digital on Switch down the line.

What did you expect for Labo in the UK ? And more importantly why...UK is a very price sensitive market and weaker for Nintendo compared to its other big European mainland markets.

People always seems to have this big expectations for Labo - just dont understand why.

I was always a bit skeptical of its Stem claim tbh, and perception at $70.

Given that it is cardboard based, is it possible to de-assemble a kit and re-assemble in various ways without damage (by kids)?
I don't think you can change the ways the ready made one's are assembled. They are pretty bespoke creations. But you can make your own from scratch and code what happens to it from the garage. It's also pretty sturdy so kids would only damage it if they are clumsy and careless with it.

"That means it is a third consecutive week at the top for PS4 exclusive God of War. The game's sales fell 56% week-on-week, yet it retains the top spot comfortably"

Around 28k for Gow. 185k ltd

France is back to showing 3 NSW games.
as i figured, showing 5 games that week maybe wasn't permanent.

Do you know how well Stem-related products in that price range sell on a weekly base ? I doubt that they that much but they are also not being compared to GTA, Zelda and God of War sales every week xD

Detroit vs Dark Souls will be interesting.

Some people are confident a remaster will outsell Detroit easily.

To be fair, Dark Souls Remastered is on three systems and available for a penny below ÂŁ30, whereas Detroit: Become Human is not only an exclusive game for the PlayStation 4, but it is a full price game at ÂŁ50.

I would give Detroit a deserved round of applause should it sell more than Dark Souls.

Anyhoo, well done to God of War for spending three weeks perched upon the top!

I don't see why Detroit: Become Human wouldn't debut ahead of Dark Souls remaster considering previous Sony first-party releases on the platform.

A performance similar to Beyond: Two Souls, which didn't exactly set the charts on fire, should be enough to claim No1 that week.

What about State of Decay 2 which releases on Tuesday the week Detroit releases. The 5 Vs 2 day tracking could be the difference.

I think MK8D on it's own has a shot at 35m+ worldwide like MKWii, if there isn't a MK9 anytime soon.
