The actual sales figures aren't too big for Vampyr but it is without a doubt a great launch for a European rpg from a modest publisher. As always this is just basically retail console sales, the developers have to be happy with the results.

We don't have it yet. I think it usually releases pretty close to the awards, like a week later or so.

Sony's 'Days of Play' promotion intensifies this week helping 'God of War' regain No1, up from No3.

Last week's No1 'Vampyr' slips to No8, while more 'Days of Play' discounted titles move up the chart, including bundled games like 'Fallout 4' up to No3 and 'Playstation VR Worlds' up to No5. Other titles to benefit are 'Assassin's Creed Origins' at No9 and 'Call of Duty: WWII' at No10. There is no room for any new releases inside the Top 40 this week.

It sold over 5 million copies in one month. This wednesday, it will be out for 2 months. Seeing how incredible its legs are, I think it should already be over the 7 million barrier.

These actually made me laugh out loud.

And at the same time got me thinking...... Apart from Gravity Rush 2 what were Sony's failures this generation. It was noted that TO1886 was profitable and I mentioned GR2 because I don't know what it sold. But with games like NNK2 selling 900K with no marketing at all I'm starting to wonder.

I know we focus on pal/EU charts and NPD but the ROTW has really put in work for sony this generation.

Because? The game wasn't in any digital sales yet, meanwhile I can easily buy a physical release right now for about 40-45€.
