With the continuation of Sony's 'Days of Play' price promotions and improved hardware bundle offers, we are seeing a very familiar chart to that of last week.

Maintaining their podium positions are 'Fifa 19' in first, 'Day's Gone' in second and 'Marvel's Spider-Man' in third. 'Forza Horizon 4' speeds its way from No12 to No4 in the all formats charts. 'Red Dead Redemption 2' moves down one spot to No5 and 'Battlefield V' jumps up from No11 to No6. Unfortunately there are no new additions to the all formats charts this week.

i am seeing alot of PSVR titles going up in ranking. Good.

Also, PS4 exclusive really sells. Like really....sequel, reboot, new ip...as long as it's sony 1st party, it seems to sell really well no matter what.

I heard that Spider-man is the most successful PS4 exclusive since Uncharted 4.

Looks like the Lego DLC gave FH4 a sales boost! That game has great legs!

Was Horizon 4 on sale (don't remember seeing it) but guess the new LEGO expansion drove some sales?

CTR will be top of the charts next week but apart from that reckon not much change.

I think Crash Team Racing is going to slay. It's going to benefit from the Crash boost due to the massive mindshare that's currently around (one could argue was always around, but just wasn't recognised by Activision). Also, it looks like a great kart racer and has a ton of content, so I can see it do really well.

I wonder if it can do 100k first week. It's on three platforms, after all, so that helps towards a big debut, as well.

I estimate Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy sales in UK at around 1.3 - 1.4 million including digital.

Honestly wasn't going to bother, since it's good, but still the third best kart racing franchise for me behind MK and All Stars.

Then I saw it for ÂŁ27 and that came into totally "fuck it" money for me. Tide me over until Judgment anyway!

FIFA 19 Switch numbers just show how stupid is EA's decision to label the next game as "Legacy". They want to pull Switch support, as they hold a grudge against Nintendo, and need an excuse, by undermining their own game and alienating the audience, to sustain it.

What are the numbers? If they are doing a Legacy edition then it's fair to say they don't think it's worth it.

FIFA 19 Switch has been charting since launch in UK and in some countries even managed to outsell XBO and PS4 versions. According to sources, it has sold more than 1M, even Mat listed FIFA 18 as one of the 10 best selling third-party titles for NA market. So, yes, there's numbers to question EA's decision and given their turmoiled relationship with Nintendo, it's easy to see it's a political decision rather than a financial/market one.

I don't think this is true, at least not for the markets we get data for.

What political decision? EA and every other business goes where the money is, a business isn't built on grudges.

I can only think of one country where the switch sku outsold the PS4 SKU and that's Japan. It's a financial decisions. The revenue the other two generate from both sales and mtx dwarf that of the switch sku. Because the switch is portable your less likely to be tethered to the internet, so they can't sell you additional stuff. They calculate the ROI from bring the switch sku to the same engine doesn't justify the cost.

It's all about the FUT money for EA and if Switch owners don't spend enough then adios. Weren't there some crucial FUT modes missing in the Switch version or am I misremembering?

It doesn't necessarily mean big numbers at this time of year but that top 10 looks very impressive for Sony.

LEGO expansion catapulted FH4 even whilst it is on GP.

I wonder if it has been bundled with the season pass or store credit?

You're trying to build a faulty rethoric that Switch versions sell less, so automatically means bad sales and revenue, which isn't true. If we go by this logic then is safe to assume EA should reduce their support for PC version of FIFA, the least sold version of the game, and hey, it's supported by Frostbite.

Sorry, but the "EA has no faith to support Switch with Frostbite" and hence they should label it as "Legacy" is just a dumb excuse. The hole is actually deeper.
