Really sad to see Onrush missing from this list. Evolution makes great games and deserves so much better!
They need an 'Onrush Competition'

Take what they have now and give us a competition structure like Driveclub or Motorstorm. I don't know who these driving combat games appeal too. The racing is what appeals to most people in this genre - not racking up combos and such.

I believe someone said that Sony owns the IP for CTR so it would probably be exclusive.
Activision owns the IP, but Sony owns rights to CTR itself. It's a bit like Nintendo and Sega with Bayonetta 2/3. Crash 1-3 Sierra held full rights over with Sony only operating as publisher but Sony also owns production rights to Crash Bash too iirc.

My guess is though that a CTR remake would need to be able to be multiplat or it won't happen at all. Activision won't make a game they're forced to keep exclusive, they'd just make a new game using the IP.

The June chart for Spain is up:

http://www.aevi.org.es/la-industria-del-videojuego/los-videojuegos-mas-vendidos/

1. Mario Tennis Aces
2. Fifa 18 (PS4)
3. God of War
4. Super Mario Odissey
5. Crash Bandicoot Nsane Trilogy (Switch)
6. Mario kart 8 Deluxe
7. DKC Tropical Freeze
8. GTAV (PS4)
9. Gran Turismo Sport
10. Splatoon 2

Splatoon 2 legs in Spain are one of the best in Europe, better than Zelda's whereas everywhere else seems to be the other way around.

First month that number of Switch titles is bigger than number of PS4 titles on Top 10 Spain. 6 > 4

I never really cared for the normal Crash games. But i played the hell out of CTR. It was amazing.
Buddy and me always played together and even let the AI run a lap ahead and we still won because we found out the more you are behind your chance of a getting a Aku-Aku skyrocketed haha.

And for some reason Spain loves Odyssey more than Mario Kart which is also the other way around in the rest of Europe.

EDIT: Regarding Octopath Traveler's performance in the UK, I don't see it moving a lot units due to its high price for a title like this and the general price sensitivity in the UK. Don't get me wrong I will gladly pay full price for it because it looks amazing but I can totally see why people would be put off by it.

I keep forgetting that God of War is now in its fourth month of retail, and is still in the top ten!

The revenue chart makes things a little bit more clearer however, I really wish the PAL charts could fast forward to 2019, knowing that digital sales are included.

I reckon the PAL charts will look - and stay - very much the same until September begins.

p.s. Seems to me that Nintendo is gradually nibbling away on Xbox's market share here in the UK, whereas PlayStation remains largely unaffected.

I'm curious as to the people playing the original three Crash titles on the Xbox or Switch, is Naughty Dog credited at all? Does their name/logo show up at some point? Or does Activision remove all reference?

God of Legs, baby! And Detroit: Become Human with that hold =D
Detroit holding the line and staying in the Top 10 based on individual units and value after 7 weeks is amazing for an interactive story game Oo

In the same timeperiod Until Dawn already had dropped to 24th place on individual units and 29th all formats. Heavy Rain was down to 19th and 23rd respectively. Very nice.

There is also Nathan Drake easter egg in the beginning of Crash 3. I wonder what they replaced it with.

Yes it's true, Odissey has also been performing better than Mario Kart in Spain, I wonder why.

About Octopath, I think you should be right. I'm thinking that it will for sure perform (or at least open) better in Spain or France than in the UK, as we have seen with a lot of other Switch titles.

So what would be a respectable opening for Octopath? It's the UK I know but I'm hoping for 20-30k.

Nothing about XB1 Crash sales? We all knew Switch was gonna sell more but i wanted to see the ratio... 3-1? 5-1? 10-1?

So what would be a respectable opening for Octopath? It's the UK I know but I'm hoping for 20-30k.

Bravely Default barely hit 5K.

Even 10K will be already a good result.

I wonder if that Wolfenstein 2 number is higher than the UK one. It probably is. How does it compare with the PS4/XB1 releases?

Crash and MTA numbers seem to be very strong, MTA with only a 45% second week drop.

Try halving that and you'll be closer. The weather in the UK has been very good so people aren't buying/playing games as much and the world cup is on so one of the only games people in the UK, especially from England, will be buying is FIFA.

It didn't enter on the Top 5 that week, which it was Destiny 2 PC with 3,000 units. So, <3,000.

I actually think Octopath will do a fair bit better than Bravely in the UK, simply because it will get the attention of some older gamers who are fond of the 16 bit era and such. Won't be a huge step up however, as was said we're fairly price sensitive over here.

Octopath will likely sell more in Spain than in the UK despite the Spanish market being way smaller.

This already happened with a lot of JRPGs.

Well then, I'd say +10k for Octopath, I think it looks more appealing than XB2 for example so a better result hopefully.

Is GoW considered a evergreen title since it keeps on selling and is still on the charts?
Not yet, that's just a great pair of legs. For it to be 'evergreen' it needs to still be charting consistently next year (and beyond) - like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Crash (PS4) for example.

Nintendo has the most evergreen titles in the industry.

Yep if it's not called Final Fantasy or Pokemon then it most likely won't sell all that well in the UK, possibly with a couple of exceptions.

Yes exactly and Spain/France are two excellent JRPGs markets for various reasons.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 sold 15k in its two first weeks in Spain for example, outselling a vast majority of games.

The crew not doing so hot. Ubisoft had been on a bit of a hot streak lately sales wise.

Guess we have to wait until end of august/september to get multiple games that can shake up the top of the charts.

Looking at its UK performance I wouldn't be surprised if Detroit is at, or around, 2m now.
That would be amazing. Thanks to QD talking sales a lot we roughly have all the milestones for Heavy Rain in comparison:
  1. 23. Feb 2010: Heavy Rain release (PS3)
  2. 30. Mar 2010: 1.0 million sales passed (~5 weeks)
  3. 17. Aug 2010: 1.5 million sales passed
  4. 12. Sep 2011: 2.0 million sales (approximately, milestone likely was reached earlier)
  5. 19. Aug 2013: 3.0 million sales passed
  6. 18. Feb 2015: 3.3 million sales passed (PS3 only)
  7. 02. Mar 2016: Heavy Rain PS4 release as part of the Quantic Dream collection and standalone digitally
  8. 31. May 2017: 4.5 million sales passed (PS3 and PS4)
Detroit passed 1 million sales after 2 weeks.
