This means that either the QB or the Bayo 2 number is wrong.Hm... that would mean bayo 2 did more than 13k though, which doesn't seem to be the case?

My calculations are based on monthly charts with actual sales figures, Chart Track weekly percentage changes and The Guardian platform splits.
He also said when Bayo 2 Switch launched that Bayo Switch and WiiU were close, so Astral Chain should be very close to Bayo 2 WiiU launch. If the upper margin of error for Bayo 2 was 13k, then that rhymes quite well with the 11.5k-13.5k margin I deduced 2 posts up.
Yep oops
Yes.. but it's fun to speculate :p
I don't know if this happened in other languages, but spanish voices in Control have received a lot of well deserverd criticism. If this affects sales, I expect something in the range of what Rage 2 or Plague Tale Innocence did (1500 - 2000)I predict for Spain 10.000 units for Astral Chain and 3.000 - 4.000 for Control (at most).
My guess is you're extrapolating from Astral Chain < Bayo 2 in the UK, correct? A comparable extrapolation would put Astral Chain over Nier Automata, so a direct extrapolation is not too revealing. The game should easily do 1M, this isn't the WiiU. I wouldn't worry about it.Man I do hope Astral Chain sells more than Bayonetta 2's paltry 300-400k number.
Yeah but I'm also extrapolating from Bayo 2 Switch doing 400k. Astral Chain doesn't have the fetish character designs like Nier, nor the story WoM that could give it a second life. Still hoping for 1M too.My guess is you're extrapolating from Astral Chain < Bayo 2 in the UK, correct? I keep seeing people quote that 400k number... remember, that was purely the sales after the first nine weeks on the switch. Based on how long bayo 1 charted on the eshop (very long), it's sales certainly didn't stop there, and In japan, 75% of its sales came outside of launch week. Switch titles generally have legs as well. For all we know it could be nearly double that number.Yeah but I'm also extrapolating from Bayo 2 Switch doing 400k. Switch continues its amazing summer.
No Astral Chain fought a bloody duel and deserves the top spot !I'm sure its a quiet summer week but wow at Astral Chain getting #1. Control deserves a lot more sales imo.
Amazing thanks !

Spain Week 31
Spain Sales - Archive
Thanks for posting the numbers! Results of week 35 could also arrive a bit later because of Tokyo Game Show.
I predict for Spain 10.000 units for Astral Chain and 3.000 - 4.000 for Control (at most).
The difference between Astral Chain and Control is kinda nuts lol.Oops, I was very optimistic regarding Control, it didn't even sell 1.000 units on PS4, total flop. Quantum Break sold 3.500 units on Xbox One.
Astral Chain has sold 13.000 units.
This info is taken from Vandal radio podcast, more data when Vandal web publishes weekly article.
Not only France, In Australia it was the best selling game last week, same in Germany.
Damn.13.000 for Astral Chain in Spain is a great result. For comparison Devil May Cry V opened with 8.900 (PS4 + Xbox One combined).
It will basically be a second launch for the Switch.Control Spanish dub is a disaster.
Other info from podcast:
Man of Medan - 4000 units
Collection of Mana - 1600 units
Original plan of Nintendo was to ship 10k-15k units of Switch Lite. Now they increased 2.5x-3x that number because pre-orders are very high.
I don't think a good dub would have made much of a difference when you bomb so hard (there is always the option to play in English), the game was met with total indifference and I don't feel 505 Games didn't even bother to properly advertise it. They accepted defeat from first moment.
Also, seeing other markets (UK, Australia, New Zealand, Swtizerland) it being outsold by Wreckfest I doubt was the expected...
whoa! that's huge for astral chain then.13.000 for Astral Chain in Spain is a great result. For comparison Devil May Cry V opened with 8.900 (PS4 + Xbox One combined).
EDIT: Nier Automata (PS4) had a debut of 3.700 copies.
