Astral Chain's Spain launch is just so impressive. Really hoping it crosses that 1M WW, at leas lifetime, but by the end of this fiscal year would be nice.

In the UK Link's Awakening dropped by 62% so I wonder how the drop in Spain will look like.

That France chart is so disgusting, seeing FIFA 20 Legacy Edition above Dragon Quest XI S makes me feel sick. Everything is pointing out at not so great launch for Dragon Quest title, definitely not above what Dragon Quest XI sold on PlayStation 4 a year ago. Now we will see if it has legs.

I don't understand why they thought it was a good idea to release the game for full price in Europe again. I mean the extra features of the Definitive Edition are neat and I am looking forward playing the game once my copy from France arrives. But there is no way I would have paid 60 euros in Germany especially when you can get the PS4 version for almost a third of the price.

Past Fifa Switch games sold quite well in France - Fifa 20 outselling DQ week 1 shouldnt be too shocking. For all we know DQ still might have sold well enough.

Its a late release after all - legs will be the important factor here.

This chart should be in units, while France is revenue-based.

There have been some insane bundles for the SAD.

It's why some games are seeing bumps, but it doesn't explain the strong legs Gears 5 is showing as it isn't part of those insane bundles.

It has its own bundle for ÂŁ225, but why spend ÂŁ50 to ÂŁ60 more for a bundle with fewer games?

Why should the game have debuted better than the PS4 version? It's an enhanced version on a platform with a way smaller installed base.

Places also have insanely good priced bundles with the Gears 5 1TB console bundle. GAME has it with FIFA + Division 2 for ÂŁ199(also Ghost Recon: Breakpoint for an extra ÂŁ30 on top if you want), Argos have the exact same bundle but it's ÂŁ10 less for Ghost Recon as an extra, Currys have the same ÂŁ199 bundle but with Project Cars 2 + Tekken 7 instead of the Division 2 and that's just looking at retail stores. Both the 1TB SAD and 1TBs have great value for money bundles right now.

Have we heard anything about North American numbers? Seems to have been Lukewarm in Europe but debuted well in Japan. It got really heavy promotion over here, so 500K hopefully shouldn't be too hard of a barrier to cross.

According to Benji, the game is doing well and shipped more units than Astral Chain.

I think the game will cross 1m WW soon enough, Square might give us an insight during the financial report.

passing the ps4/pc sales in the west should be super easy for XI S, the game pretty much flopped on those platforms. it's in japan where it wont reach the sales of the 3ds/ps4 versions, which is understandable.
