There are 4 million people that played at least one online match on Ps4, 2.6 million on Zombies.

Servers didn't work somehow 4 million people managed to go online and play a full match.

Some good legs for GT. Once Sony start bundling it in earnest, it won't leave the top 20 for a good long while.

Honestly surprised that CoD is on the rise again. I thought the world was still sick of WW2-set war games, but I guess not.

I went to Game.es to get my .hack//GU remaster (since I found out it's exclusive to them) and it was one of the two Slim bundles that were shown in the front page. The other was PS4+UC Collection+Horizon+TLOU.

This looks like a very good week for XB1 software: the COD spread closer than usual (and installed base), AC higher, some other rising.

X anticipation?

I wouldn't read too much into those. COD has been pretty close even since the marketing deal shifted and AC:Origins has been bundled in with the XB1 S.

XBOX returning to take the throne and Sony acting like a complacent Sony. :)

No need for this kinda crap.

It's always interesting how hardware launches affect the software charts.

It didn't affect nothing,.in case of AC Origins. Why Xbone version is cheaper. There are reasons.

The decent second week was boosted by an improved performance for the Xbox One version of the game, which has a cheaper average selling price compared to the PS4 edition(sales of the PS4 and Xbox One versions were 50/50 this week)"

Nice. Thread worthy? Cant make one.

"In particular, for Assassin's Creed Origins, which only dropped 36% in its second week on sale. This is an unusually low drop for a second week of a major AAA game, and suggests the franchise may be set for a comeback, too. The decent second week was boosted by an improved performance for the Xbox One version of the game, which has a cheaper average selling price compared to the PS4 edition (sales of the PS4 and Xbox One versions were 50/50 this week)"

This is UK, so that CoD split is very much in line with the install base.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember the split being bigger than 60:40.

I'm pretty sure Xbone version during launch week sold below expectations for an Xbox marketed game. That's why it is cheaper and got a rise on charts.

I would assume that the hardware bundling on the XB would have more to do with a lower ASP than any kind of 'fire sales' in week 2.

They didn't mentioned in article that Xbone version of AC Origins got a rise on charts because it was bundled with Xbone S, it's because it's cheaper

Damn, that's really a strong number for CoD. The studio probably started working on the next WW2 game straight away. I also think next year will be Black Ops 4, 2019 is a mystery.

Wow that AC: Origins hold... not seen that before

Jup its pretty good. Word of mouth probably helped and wouldnt be suprised alot of people just waited for the reception first. Although the week 1 sales were pretty good also.
Looks like the break and soft reboot did the franchise good.

Yeah, even though AC: Syndicate was regarded as a good entry, it was still just another one of those AC games. The changes they've made when people talk about it sound really interesting.

I'll still likely wait for the New Year traditional price cut, but I didn't even do that with Syndicate until much later, so it's clearly a winner.

Can we compare FIFA 18 and 17 splits?

Over 53% of the sales belongs to PlayStation 4, while Xbox One holds a little over 40%, with Fifa 17, Xbox One marketing and bundles.
With Fifa 18 it was 60 %. Marketing working?
