So, for the launch of third party ports on Switch in UK, we have those results (rounded)

Skyrim > 5,700
L.A Noire ~ 4,100
DOOM ~ 3,500

If we compare those sales to games like Splatoon 2 (28K), Mario and Rabbits (between 15K and 23K), and 12Switch (does anybody have any kind of estimate lol?), i would say that those results looks absolutely reasonable.

If years old port can do those numbers, a Switch version in line with the release date of PS4/XB1 version can definitively do some good numbers. Not great, but still legit results.

Do we not know fifa? It had the 1% at first and now 3%

omg at GTSport being sold for £18, poor sony, a shame their flagship game had such a rough release. hopefully GT7 can rectify this all

Is sony bad at managing their racing games? First Driveclub, then Wipout and now GT?

Not really. For all the praise Forza gets, it still doesn't light the charts on fire and sells mostly through discounts and bundles just like GT Sport is going to. The racing genre has just declined drastically. So even a well made gt 7 isn't going to sell like old gt games.

We actually got One X sales numbers? Nice. The Xbox One launched to 15,200 back in 2013.

according to Nintendo, Pokemon Sun and Moon sold over 1.5 million at launch in Europe, with those countries sales:

France - 425,000
UK - 368,000
Germany - 343,000
Spain - 184,000
Italy - 134,000

All numbers include digital. So Sun / Moon launch is super overtracked. If Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon sales are not overtracked ( i'm not saying they arent) the drop compared to Sun and Moon is not that bad.

EDIT: Also nice to know XB1X sales. Clearly not good, but is Spain so... I guess total Europe sales are in the 120-150K range.

GT feels done to me. The fans 10 years ago went to other franchises. Complete mishandling of a major IP.

Brilliant, thanks!

Damn, was hoping for better. Even without any interest in the system myself, MS really excelled themselves with the XOX, and I was hoping it'd put pressure on Sony to pull their fingers out with Pro and Backwards Compatibility support.

Is it fairing any better on Amazon US, if it's not too much to ask?

It just feels so dry and sterile these days.

It used to be the 'ultimate driving experience', so to not even be as good as the yearly, micro-transaction riddled Forza is a huge failure on PD's part.

Tomorrow should be interesting. Wonder if we'll get some hardware numbers too. There was a lot of games on offer and some great bundles so will be interesting to see the winners and losers. GT Sport should get a huge boost and CoD has been on offer and in the majority of bundles so I can't see that losing its Top spot.

Yes, we talk about the first week sales for all countries. Not to be surprised, many times that Spain chart overtracked a lot of games, another example is Zelda BotW, i don't remember the numbers but Nintendo had the official sales including digital bigger than the Spain chart which is retail alone.

Except for the fact GT5 launched in Nov 25th 2010 7 years ago and sold over 10 million. Those sales would've been 7-4 years ago not 10.

GT Sport looks to be doing less than GT5p which is what I'd expect being online, no offline saving. GT6 was released after PS4 launched and barely any different to GT5 that we waited so long for. GT6 felt like GT5 anniversary edition.

GT7 would've sold well if PD could actually make it.

No, I mean Nintendo's numbers being a different timeframe than the individual countries.

Also Nintendo's official numbers being higher than retail only makes sense, or did you mean the opposite...?

Oh yeah, i mean the opposite.

EDIT: Zelda on Switch did 39K first week according to Nintendo (including digital), and the chart had Zelda at 44K , retail alone, you can see how it clearly overtracked Zelda.
Same for Pokémon, and yes, like i said, every numbers are first week, both Nintendo and Spain chart.

I wonder how the Minecraft designed Xbox is doing. It's very pricey but I could see it's appeal, I'm just not sure it's doing the numbers it could potentially be doing. It had a chance of really flying out at £199 but £299 is just ridiculous.

Black Friday week sees various software titles affected by huge promotions, most of which are hardware driven. Entertainment Software unit sales climb +89% over last week and +53% by revenue and this is the biggest week of the year so far for both units and revenue. On console hardware and looking specifically at combined sales units of PS4 and Xbox One hardware, this Black Friday week was more successful than last year, up around 3% compared to week 47, 2016.

Standout success on PS4 hardware specifically which beat all previous PS4 Black Friday weeks except for Black Friday 2013 (week 48) which was also PS4 launch week. Official Hard Bundles for PS4 and Xbox One reached a new high this year, accounting for over 83% of all PS4/Xbox One hardware units sold this week.Activision Blizzard's 'Call of Duty: WWII' retains the No1 spot for a fourth week since launch, EA climb 1 place to No2 with 'FIFA 18' and Sony's 'Gran Turismo: Sport' climbs 9 places to No3.

Using the numbers above, that's ~243K between PS4 and XB1.

PS4: >143K
XB1: <100K
