In a quiet week for new releases, Activision Blizzard's 'Call of Duty: WWII' (-41%) retains the No1 spot yet again in the All Formats Chart, giving it 6 weeks in a row at the top.

It is the longest unbroken run at No1 since Black Ops 3. EA still have 2 titles in the Top 5 with 'Fifa 18' retaining the No2 spot (-58%) and 'Star Wars Battlefront II' climbing one place into No3 (-22%). There are two new entries that make the Top 40 this week: 'Rocket League: Collector's Edition' now through Warner Bros. at No21 and Gearbox Publishing's 'Hello Neighbor' debuting at No37. Elsewhere in the charts, re-entries for Nintendo's 'Miitopia' (+2%) at No36 and 'Mario Kart 7' (-13%) at No35 gives Nintendo a total of 8 titles in the Top 40 with its highest at No4 – 'Super Mario Odyssey (-25%).

If anybody was wondering about Xenoblade 2 in the UK chart:

Great to see so many Switch games still charting. Minus XC2 alas. In any case it's good to see Nintendo's platform being represented again after years of anemic 3DS and Wii U software sales.

Call of Duty continues to fill Activision's coffers like some kind of professional coffer-filler.

Ouch for Doom, not even in the top 20 Switch games

Mario Rabbids adverts in the UK seem to be keeping that game up there, seen loads this week

Xenoblade 2 beaten by Sonic Forces, that's hilarious.

I note that Gran Turismo Sport is plummeting down the chart, now their heavy discount has largely ended. It's never going to match the sales of Gran Turismo 5, it's a relative bomb for the series.

Hah. Where did Miitopia and MK7 come from? Isn't MK7 something like 6 years old?

Glad to see Crash Bandicoot still charting. Did we ever get any indication on worldwide sales numbers? I read something last week about it being the biggest selling PS4 exclusive in the UK, soon to be overtaken by GT Sport.

Edit: I'm not surprised about Xenoblade. It's a very niche game. Just look at what's selling for Nintendo in the UK.

Oh look, Gran Turismo crashes out of the Top 10 when they stop selling the game for less than a bag of crisps.

Super Mario Odyssey is holding incredibly well, I really didn't think it would be outselling Assassin's Creed 6 weeks after release in the UK.

Just want to say, WW2 is AAA gaming done right. I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but the loot boxes are in no way shape or form intrusive. The campaign was good, zombies is good and the multiplayer is great. There's hundreds of hours of entertainment there.

I know people don't like to hear this, but there's not much audience for "mature" titles on a Nintendo console in my opinion.
I've been very cautiously warning people for some time that the Switch might fall prey to the same demographic problem as other Nintendo consoles. Namely, people who buy these platforms primarily buy games with Mario on the cover. Oh, sure there's exceptions to this. But I suspect that third party sales are going to be a problem. People tried to brush off FIFA selling terribly on Switch as no big deal. But how many high profile games selling badly on Switch will publishers tolerate? I think people been excessively optimistic about third party sales on the Switch. Hopefully things pick up, but these early signs are really not good. Remember that the Sony PSP sold 70+ million units, but in its later years it was torpedoed by low software sales.

Just Dance 2018 is 12...but none of the version made it to the individual charts O_o They really need to move Xenoblade from the december time frame, it can't hurt it. It release in a really crowded time in term of games. Not sure if it'll help it sell more, but I am sure it would get more exposure in a summer or march release. Anyone can correct me on this.

First time since release, that Forza Horizon is not in the top 40 all format chart!?
But it's still on the individual chart at 37.

Lol plummeting out of the top 10 to lowly place 11. I still don't get the hate for the game.

Seems like Nintendo software is making bank on the switch. Doesn't seem to have broadened it's market at all in the UK at least.

Bomb where? Did you know that GT5 bombed because it didn't matched GT3 sales?

Crash's performance is crazy, did ever go out of top 20? Also lol @ the same guy every week calling GTS a bomb.

Wondering has Doom been in any top 10 in Europe?

Also mentioned in the other thread, GT Sport only lasted one week in the France chart since the price drop. UK it was 3rd for two weeks.

I am confused how is that a big drop again?
Because in the main chart it fell 8 places. We don't need to change the goalposts and look at the individual chart to somehow make it look like less of a fall. Relax. GT tends to sell well over an extended period of time, hell even GT6 sold reasonably.

With the League update coming out this month, that will give it a boost I think. Single player is the one big issue for a lot of people (though not me, I'm hooked on Sport mode).
