So, some 2018 sales figure for Switch:

France ~ 89,000 (7 weeks)
Germany ~ 50,000 (9 weeks)

yeah, France is way bigger than Germany for Switch right now, but we already knew that.

Holy shit, Switch accounts for a higher chunk of FIFA 18 sales than the XBO?

Ocarina of Time for 3DS for example.
And overall every mainline console Zelda had nice legs. Maybe not to BotW's extent but still. Same with Mario.

Ocarina of Time 3D, a year after launch :
Not in the Top 40 : http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index....p&ct=110015&arch=t&lyr=2012&year=2012&week=24
Not in the 3DS Top 10 : http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index....p&ct=310019&arch=t&lyr=2012&year=2012&week=24

Twilight Princess, a year after launch :
Not in the Top40 : http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index....p&ct=110015&arch=t&lyr=2007&year=2007&week=47
Not in the Wii Top 10 : http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index....p&ct=110030&arch=t&lyr=2007&year=2007&week=47

BotW is really in another league.

What about Skyward Sword lol.

But seriously that is another surprising comparison right there. I would've thought OoT was selling somewhat similarly but damn as you said BotW is in another league.

It's the first time a Zelda game (at least since Ocarina of Time on Nintendo 64) is charting so high a year after launch. Ocarina of Time 3D sold well over time as well as many other entries, but they didn't have such a big presence a year after launch.

Very interesting. That goes against what I remembered. Thanks for the info!

Yeah seems like that's the case.

Like France, Spain seems to love the Switch, 8 games in the top10 + the Switch itself !

https://www.amazon.es/gp/bestsellers/videogames/ref=zg_m_bsar__bs

It is a strong country for Playstation but software wise we are seeing Switch titles selling really well and comparably to PS4 titles (at the exception of Fifa and Cod)

Look now, there are 13 games in the top 20. xd
It was added 5 new games of the recent Direct. (Does Undertale have a physical version?)

Gamesindustry write-up in the meantime:
gamesindustry.biz said:
We had to wait a few extra days this week to discover that GTA V is the UK's No.1 boxed game of the week for a 15th time.

Rockstar's never ending seller saw a sales rise of 21%. The game has sold well over 7m copies in the UK alone - excluding digital sales.\

The game incredibly just narrowly beats TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge - a motorcycle racing game (from Big Ben) that's all about the Isle of Man's Snaefell Mountain Course. It might well rank as one of the most niche games ever to grace the charts - let alone make it to second spot.

60% of TT's sales were on PS4, with 40% on Xbox One.

There's another new game at No.3, too, in the form of Sony's Bravo Team for PlayStation VR.

The continued popularity of Nintendo Switch means that the Nintendo power three continue to perform well. Those three being Mario Kart 8: Deluxe at No.6, Super Mario Odyssey at No.7 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at No.10. All three games fell down the charts slightly, but they all still increased in sales.

Overall, the arrival of the new games sees the market improve by 10% week-on-week in terms of game sales.

Are my eyes deceiving me or has a PS VR only game charted in third place?!

Shadow of the Colossus dropped a fair bit this week, sadly...

Almost everything is as it was this time last week, for better or worse.

There's nothing new or interesting coming out until the end of this month anyway.
