PC gamers: are you going to buy Borderlands 3 on EGS?

I bought it during the EGS sale when it was up for a little bit.
I find it weird people wanna wait out of loyalty to a corporation.

Waiting for performance impressions for the PS4 Pro, if they're any good (and if the game isnt terrible, obviously) I'll pick up a physical copy a couple weeks after launch.
If not, I'll probably just pick it up when it gets cheaper on Steam. I usually only have the mental bandwidth to focus on one "shooter type" game at a time (with the rest of my time used to play single player stuff) , and that spot is looking to get filled by Gears 5 for most of the holiday season.

I've got both too much to start/finish playing, and too much coming out in the next few months. Will get it on Steam eventually, but honestly I probably wouldn't pick it up even if it was on steam day 1.
If the reviews are good, sure - I dont care which storefront gets my money, they're all shades of evil in my books.

It's weird because it's not about that. It's not loyalty to a company. The idea that it is that needs to be thrown in the garbage.
It's about knowing where you prefer to buy products and how it's delivered, knowing why that is, and not devaluating your own position as a customer by accepting any and all attempts from large companies to stear you to other ways and stores. And not rewarding such things with preorders.
None of that really seems immoral to me tbh. The whole point of the industry is to sell stuff.

I said that the thing you said about loyalty to a corporation is really more about loyalty to yourself, to your preferences. And those preferences are based on practical aspects about where and how a product is delivered.
Will wait for Steam or maybe console. Don't plan on ever buying from EGS for the foreseeable future.
Not a big Borderlands fan so it's an easy skip. I was far more interested in Control and I skipped that. Will probably get it eventually on Steam unless I pick up a used PS4 copy.
honestly, I don't care if it comes out on epic, steam, consoles, or my refrigerator, I ain't buying it.
I'm not buying it anywhere. Randy/Gearbox is most definitely on my no interest list. EGS would also be a hard pass, but it's not my primary reason for having no interest in this game.
Considering buying it on Steam a few years from now, when it's available in a complete edition and on sale. And assuming its "humor" is more than just a bunch of memes and dated references. And also assuming I'm not already hopelessly addicted to Destiny 3 by that time...
