Anyone got a spare Book of Demons discount coupon not planning to use? Tried the demo and I was hooked immediately.

How long until we see a storefront that give devs 100% share +bonus money for each game sold in order to gain "market share" and then burns through a billion in venture capital before it collapses without warning, locks everyone out of their libraries, and dumps everyone's CC#s in a hack?

Book of Demons is a Diablo, deck-building, clicker, rogue-like. I'm not even mad, I'm just impressed.

Next up on my plate are Gris, Desert Child & Jotun. I should really play the adventure games I bought back in the summer but had to put off due to backlog :S

Oddly tempted to do another run on DQ11 for some reason.

and it's a shitty turret section

honestly all that games kinda sucks
Blood Dragon's theme is interesting but even on Easy enemies felt too strong plus the map and overall presentation makes it hard to stealth enemies. You can only stealth for so long til you're spotted then you gotta just kill whoever you while healing every other minute.

I didn't think the final section was trash just...underwhelmingly anti-climatic.

Good thing we have the Steam forums to inform us prior to making a purchase.
This toxicity that unfairly robs Devs of purchases must stop. Truly, Epic Store has understood the evils of an informed customer base, and come to the rescue. Also, as an advoctate of privacy, I'm touched how much they care about EU privacy laws, and let it even inform every detail of their webdesign, up the point of not pre-ticking boxes.

You are absolutely right, I see that my way is indeed wrong and we all should strive to be "pro-dev" & "pro-publisher" and just give them all of our money blindly.

Any good?

I'm not going near it for the time being though. They used a DX function that only works on Win8 and above, then sold it as working on Win7 to begin with. Won't even launch past the dev's logo for lots of people on Win 10 as well according to the forums. Shows it hasn't been tested properly at all. Shame, it looks really interesting.

The games been delayed constantly and it doesn't even work on day 1? What kind of developers are they? I hope it gets the overwhelming negative reviews to teach developers game must at least work at launch.

I'm not buying it until everything has been sorted out.

Also to those who want the soundtrack, but it from bandcamp. The steam version is MP3 192 which is embarrassing.

so book of demons is amazing.

like, GOTY amazing, although ive only played like 2 hours to be fair. Not even mad that I didnt use the 66% voucher that I only got AFTER I bought it from humble, thats how good it is.

Your heard it here first before some popular streamer makes it go big like slay the spire or something.

Thanks Rhaknar for putting this on my radar!

Ah fuck it, I embrace the chaos. I hope we have 10x more storefronts in 2019.

I am going to need a storefront for storefronts soon.

Sinner needs to come to steam as I actually was starting to quite like it after a bad first impression but fuck it's 720p or something similar on the Xbox One with huge dips!

I am still waiting for one of these stores to show me what I get as customer from all of this.
Like they thing about costumers in this, they are just counting in the worship and the need to play the games.

Frost looks interesting. Anyone played it?
The best pure boardgame solitare deck builder there is in videogame form, beautiful art and a lot and I mean a lot of story setups to clear with the deck, it is very difficult and tense but rewarding.

Holy shit Gunfire Games released new patch for Darksiders 3 adding new combat option for the game. I am not sure how big changes are exactly, but new combat should be "similar to previous two Darksiders games." Players can now choose between the two combat options.

EA is adding some newer THQ Nordic games (Darksiders III and This Is the Police II) to Origin Access Premier, FYI.

The December batch of Basic games isn't up yet, though Tyranny was added a few weeks ago in between the usual mid-month additions.

I have just finished Iconoclasts. I remember at the beginning of this year when it released simultaneously to Celeste. Back then, I wisely chose Celeste and that became my GOTY. Later last month I finally bought the one I was missing.

Iconoclasts is a great game too. The boss fights are what stand the most to me, puzzle-wise, most were very basic. The story is very interesting as well. I wasn't getting into it until the last bits of the game, and ended up enjoying what the plot had to offer when seeing the credits screen. Too bad it seems I'd have to beat the game at least one more time to get all achievements, maybe someday.

I recommend it to anyone that enjoys something 'megaman' like, feating some great boss battles with a rather interesting story about religious manipulation and belief.

Looking for recommendations:

I just got a call from an old friend who moved away. He wants to jump on steam tonight and play something together so we can catch up.

Looking for light co-op games, preferably under 15 bucks cuz I plan on buying him a copy, too.

For some reason, Discord coming in and stealing Epic's thunder a few days after that huge marketing push is absolutely hilarious to me.

Real winner would be MS wit relaunching their store and going with 100% revenue to developers from PC sales but 30% from Xbox sales. Mandatory release on both platforms XD

Wait for build!

Seriously tho, MS is pretty close to that model for anything that is not game already. (85%-95% on PC / 70% on xbox)

Another patch, same old water quality. Surely it can't be intentional. I mean, this is JC4:

And this is a low-res screenshot of the PC version of Halo 2:

Wonder if it's gonna start a competition (look, I used the word Era likes!) between them:

Epic: We announce a 91/9 Revenue Share!
Discord: We announce a 92/8 Revenue Share!
Epic: Well, fine, assholes, we now have a 95/5 revenue share, you'll never top ...
Discord: it's 98/2, now.
Epic: Dammit! Ok, we give up, it's 100/0. There, no one can go further than ...
Discord: We have a 110/0 split, we actually match 10% of your sales and give it to you as additional revenue.
Epic: Goddammit!

Finished all 3 episodes of Dusk

If you like retro shooters or fast paced shooter in general, you absolutely owe this game money.
High quality adrenaline pumping action.
Game absolutely exhausted me, forcing me to take a multiple hour / 1 day break between every episode.
Havent played a game like that in a while.

10/10 leveldesign too.
All i can say about this is holy shit, a pc ass pc shooter.

Buy it.

I think it's better for all of us if MS limits UWP and their efforts to merge pc gaming with Xbox gaming to their own (1st party) games. ;)

I've made it to about the halfway mark in Dusk so far, and yo, that second episode goes places. I think it was e2m4 and e2m5 that really blew me away. Those levels in particular felt bold in a way most retro-style games just don't. I'm hoping to finish it up this weekend.
