House of the Dying Sun is a fantastic space shooter but you can blow through the campaign in an hour. It's made to be replayed but still unfortunately light on content and there likely won't be any more added. Still, it is a blast to play.

when the original announcement leaked some people said stuff about them changing the voice actors and re-recording the dialogue - is that true?
Apparently not. Plus, the person who first made that claim has a shaky track record at best.
Just had a big AOE2 update on Steam. Looks like a bunch of fixes and balances been put into place. Time to play. Also if anyone is into VR I play a game called Box VR as a fun game plus get a little workout and that game just had a huge update too. Added a bunch of new workouts and songs. Pretty massive update. I'd wait to see if it goes 50 percent off again at the winter sale though.
Also that next gen pre release hype is here again. Console fanboys running wild with unrealistic dreams. Every new console cycle, never changes.

I think I'm going to play FEAR on easy, just to get used to the controller, it feels so weird in my grip. My hands are conditioned to use Playstation products.
19 was okay, definitely a step in the right direction after 17 and 18. FIFA 20 is incredible though. Easily my favorite FIFA game since the PS3 era.
Steam was designed with netplay as first use case. Given how far Valve has gone with DLL hijacking by now, they could attempt detecting if game is doing stuff with network, but it wouldn't be exactly easy without resorting to kernel hacks.
It's because they don't won't you to lag out the moment something starts downloading in the background.

IIRC, the lvl 50 classes require you to be in Ishgard (where the patch content takes you to for the DLC) so no. With the further expansions though, you typically could start them when you hit the level requirement rather than needing to be at a story point
Hopefully this fixes the "SteamVR also runs when you run any game" bug.
I mean that's the point though, to play off War's grimdark straight man routine.
Also, there's definitely hints of 'humor as a shield' here and there where he drops the jokey facade a bit.

I guess, but all of the other horsemen are very serious, so in that context it seems really weird.
Is that any good? It looks like a pretty ambitious game that ends up very shallow and bleh.
