I understand the principle, but can you not pick and choose which titles you receive now? Unless you have the grandfathered 'get everything' option, I suppose.

Question: If you get the Shadow Of The Tomb Raider from Humble Monthly, you won't be able to get its uprades for Deluxe Edition after? Cus those DLCs don't appear on the store anymore and don't show a price.
No I mean the Humble bundle gives the base version but what if someone wants to upgrade and gett all the DE stuff?
That's what the bundle is for. With Complete the Set bundles, you pay only for what you don't own.
I'd assume it'll work as any other purchase on steam? I mean - why would you not be able to by the dlcs only from the package if you have the base game. Probably better that way, you'll get a pretty big discount.
Almost seems like you're new to Steam or are getting very confused for whatever reason.
Though tbf for some packages you have to rebuy the whole thing (I think FromSoftware stuff is like that, I remember not getting any discount even though I had DS3 from the bundle).

Yeah that's the difference between Bundles (like the above) and Package "bundles".
The packages are giftable while bundles are not, so the best way to handle it is to provide both versions. Few do that tho.

I'm not new to Steam (in fact I may be one of the oldest Steam users in this thread), it's just that those upgrades don't show any price to me as if I can't get them after I redeem the base game which is weird and never happened to me.
Ye, I wasn't too happy about it when I realised I wasn't getting a discount lol.

Ok I am more confused now. Is it me or the base game doesn't exist on Steam anymore? I can only find the Definitive Edition in the store? Was the base version replcaed by the Definitive Edition like some time ago? If Humble monthly offers the game why doesn't it unlock the DE then instead?
It was replaced with the Definitive Edition bundle a few weeks ago.
Because Humble didn't spring for the DE, just the base game.
Edit: You say you're not seeing prices for the DLC. What region are you in?

Oh JaseC I didn't realize it was you bro. Welcome back here. Well I still didn't get the game from HB so that is why I only see the DE page
Now this page shows all the prices but when I go the the each DLC separately, their individual pages don't show a price or way to get them individually. Does that mean if I unlock the base version, I have to re-purchase the DE again? Kinda weird tbh.

You can't purchase them individually, but when you activate the base game, it'll be deducted from the cost of the bundle so that you're paying only for the DLC.
Oh man, I wish I hadn't thrown away my old CRT monitors 15 years ago ...
A new 3D Crash is going to be announced soon, and i guess PC will get it 1 year later, as usual with Activision.
Awesome, I wonder if I can continue from where I left off with that previous new chunk of gameplay.
Paused my humble sub for a month. Would have taken Tomb Raider if they included all DLC but other than that there is nothing else that interests me. Will grab TR in a year or two and gladly play on my new PC then.
Reminds of F.E.A.R. for obvious reasons but I personally don't need a copy of that game. They should add more stuff like destruction to make it more interesting.
On Black Mesa, it's just me or is harder as nails in some parts? I remember playing some time ago, and geting butchered to frustration at some point. Didn't have the same memory from the original HL back in the day.

Some parts will be more difficult, yeah. Don't know if the marines still slaughter all the other NPCs uncontested or not, but that was the case during my mod playthrough.
Does anyone uses the nvidia shield to cast?
I want to cast Darksiders to the tv so i can play with my gf, but I want the controllers to keep connected to the pc, so there's less input lag, did someone tried that?
Not sure if the steam app or the gforce app is best to do that.
