Pakistan
Uplay related question that hopefully someone can help me with.

I have Division 2 on Uplay which I bought using my Debit card while located in Pakistan. I get charged in Euros for some ungodly reason.

I got the game during the 3€ sale but my card just does not work when I try to buy the upcoming expansion pack.

My question is, can I ask my sibling who lives in Canada to log into my account and use their card to purchase the expansion pack? Would I still be able to access everything or would it affect my ability to purchase/use anything going forward? I have a few games on there already.

As far as i know UPlay doesn't have any restrictions except key activation so you should be fine. Now it is always a risk that system will flag something as a fraud because IP location and different card but that depends on backend system that UPlay is using.

One of the oddest things is that EA has currently zero upcoming release dates. They have a TBA for command and conquered remastered and have teased a couple of indie games. But outside sports games there is no reason to suspect they publish a single AAA game this year.

Huh, maybe they're trying to focus on next-gen or changing strats after their miserable last couple of years.

That's what I'm still doing for the most part. Just use SteamgridDB to add all my installed non-steam games and get overlay support. It's just too bad that it can't manage non-installed games as well like Playnite and Galaxy can. It'd be nice if Playnite could export your library to Steam and act as a background program to automatically consolidate things into Steam too. I don't think Steamgrid has any plans to do anything with connecting accounts or dealing with non-installed games.

While GOG Galaxy looks, it's lacks some features because it's still beta. It still doesn't have a tray icon quick launch that is present on others launchers...even Playnite has it. I appreciate what GOG is trying to do with galaxy, but I think they need to offer more features and customization options if they are going that route.

Looks like we will still get the info from them. I suspect more SteamLabs announced before it.

We need a March OT subtitle. Anyone got any ideas?
The Month between 2 and 4.

Eh, thats normal as EA has been moving to closer hype cycles as everyone knows they have the same games. I suspect we will get a new Battlefield game too.

No Battlefield game until late 2021. Also no Battlefront game. We have no idea what DICE is working on. Motive is working on new IP and Star Wars title.

They have a lot of stuff actually.

I suspect we will get a new Battlefield game too.

The next Battlefield is confirmed for 2021.

Off the top of my head, EA's supposed to release their smaller Star Wars project (one from Vancouver studio) and the VR Medal of Honor games this year.

Plus the annual sports titles, plus 3 EA originals they teased last E3.

In terms of Labs stuff, after all they've got so far, I wonder what more stuff they'd have in store. I know what I'd want (universal library), but that seems like it will never happen.

I backed Beautiful Desolation on kickstarter, hope more people give it a chance.

All the old GTAs had some completely awful (either full sized or remote control) plane missions.

I am 100% sure they are working on one regarding tags (as that is the main thing that the people working on some other steam labs were asking about some months ago...)

Claire going down into the arena to fight off Birkin will never not be an awesome sequence. Bonus shots of Mom of the Year Annette Birkin looking awful too. Claire volunteers, confirming her to be a badass, whereas dumb Leon gets tricked by Ada then freaking Annette!

Looks good in a suit though.

Anyway that's two more achievements for RE2make down, Frugalist and With Time to Spare.

Given Death Stranding's been popping up on more 3rd party websites for preorder lately (and some with discounts) I gotta imagine a release date is going to be revealed somewhat soon.

I've played three hours of Beautiful Desolation so far and I like it, as I expected because I really liked Stasis. So far this game has the same weakness as Stasis though, which is too few interactables/descriptions and the same simple "bare minimum" interaction system. Still, I'm enjoying what's on offer here and I'm intrigued to learn more about what's going on.

It's quite fascinating that the game is made by only two people, unless I've missed something. The quality of the backgrounds is quite high, not to mention the short cinematics. Pretty impressive stuff all around. Even with the sparse interaction there's some quality world building going on so far.

I bought the Deluxe Edition on GOG to support these talented brothers and of course to get the nice art book + soundtrack. I hope to see more games from these guys in the future.
