It's meh breh. I cant be arsed to watch it nowadays. Thoughn if it had the condensed movie editions ala gurren lagann i may give it a rewatch that way.

If I can distinguish your avatar well, your isekai anime is also pretty trashy and edgy.
Not only that it also has a completely garbo aesthetic.
Also yeah KLK is just porn for men.
I hope Promare is good (even though it apparently horribly bombed) so that Trigger can finally make something good.
Thst series is ok. Though too generic for my tastes. I would still watch for the potion brewing girl.
BioShock Infinite along with Mass Effect 3 is one of the main reasons why I don't get hyped about games anymore. It was a fine game, but it was very far from the game I've expected to see:

I still wish someone had made a mod for Bioshock Infinite that when, in combat, Elizabeth says "Booker catch", or Booker whatever, it was Booker T saying it.

On-topic: what were people expecting from Infinite? I wasn't paying attention to its hype machine back then.
To share a personal story, it was quite possibly my first true triple-A game and it was amazing. I'd just found out how amazing Steam sales were and picked up Bioshock Infinite (alongside Skyrim and Arkham City) purely based on Metacritic scores, and I was completely wowed by how incredible it was to explore the virtual world of Columbia (in glorious 24 fps but that didn't take away from it for me, lol). I've not had a similar feeling of wonder since, with the exception perhaps of being introduced to the world of Horizon: Zero Dawn on the PS4.
'Bioshock Infinite made me a single player gamer' is probably simplifying things a bit, but it isn't far from the truth.
What's sad is that along with ME3, had they pushed it back to next-gen, we probably could have gotten better games, and ones closer to what was talked about, or in Infinite's case, what was shown. There was no way PS360 was going to be able to handle what they showed off in earlier demos.
Bioshock inf's introduction and early time in columbia at the game's start is wonderful indeed.
This is true! as i mentioned ive only ever played the first few hours before bouncing off it. I will make an effort to progress this month for the monthly retro.

I was thinking about buying the Half-Life 1 Anthology bundle, mainly to play all the single player mods available for it. While I don't already own Half-Life or the expansions, I have played & beaten them many years ago. But I just wanted to know, if there's any other way to play those mods, like through Black Mesa or Half-Life Source?

i don't recommend it, the game is wholly disappointing. i love little witch academia with my whole heart and i couldn't get past a few hours of that extreme tedium, it's just entirely squandered potential

Still haven't bought anything for the steam sales. I was going to get enter the gundegon but then remembered that I haven't reached the Nuclear Throne yet..... Its the same with every game I've thought of buying. :/ A shameful display on my part......
No, he threw his studio under the bus and let them all get fired because his creative "genius" was being constrained by having such a large team.

It's indeed the worst part of the game. Plenty of guide on how to beat it easily on youtube though.
Also...bad boss fight is like the staple of the franchise. Remember the final boss fight of Bioshock?

I liked it, but I found it too childish. I would gladly let my future children watch it, tho, they're bound to like it.
Kinda the same here, beaten 62 and 74 games in 2017 and 2018, right now I'm at 21 games and might not be able to beat even 52 games by the end of the year. I blame GAAS craze for that
