Hands and feet always give their age away.

And that's why you moisturize!

Asians and Black people are the saiyans of our world. They retain their youth longer then others.

Not really crazy when east asians are known for prizing light skin and thus heavily use skin care and sunscreen, and people of african descent have all that melanin.

Good genes are great and all, but for a lot of people simple sun protection your entire life is gonna' do a lot more than any expensive creams and surgeries.

Stephen Miller was 30 in this photo.

He's, like, what you imagine 30 year olds to look like when you're 5 or 6.
Already posted on another thread but this guy (Far right french politician).

I wonder if being a hateful, bigoted turd makes you age prematurely... 🤔

News correspondent Chris Jansing is 62 years old.

I always thought she was like in her 30s or early 40s lol
30's? lol dude, she looks great for 62 but there is no way this woman could be mistaken for being in her 30's... I would have guessed late 40's or early 50's.

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (the dad in Kim's Convenience) was just 43 in the first TV season; he was in his 30s for the stage play.

Jean Yoon (who plays the mom) is 10 years his senior.

I'm pushing 40 and still get carded for alcohol every time. Last time I took a course at a local college the professor thought I was lying when I introduced myself and discussed my experience, etc (he thought I was late 20's). I'm kind of shocked when I see some people from high school. I guess I held up well. Doesn't hurt I'm (half)asian - we have a tendency to look younger than we are.

Sigh

Thirties and forties are not old, y'all. Unless you have male pattern baldness, or a weight issue, you're going to look the same at 35, as you did at 22. Unless you have genetic graying, you'll look pretty close to your age at 50, as you do at 40.

And all of these actors posted are made up with the best money can buy.

Lauren Mayberry (Chvrches Frontwoman) is 31 but could easily pass for late teens/early 20s.

I feel like we're on the same wavelength here. I was showing some pics of Lauren to my friends and asking how old she looks.

She uses makeup, but I think she just keeps in shape. (Don't know too much, just have watched the more popular CVRCHES music vids)

Girl what? 35 and 22 are not remotely the same lmao. For like, anyone. I fail to see what MPB has to do with it either, that's not a sign of aging lmao

I'm 27, but I have been carded a number of times when purchasing alcoholic drinks at the store.

A year or two ago, I was at a casino with my family and a security officer pulled me over to ask for my ID.

Then when we were looking at a house in Arizona just a couple of months ago, the realtor we were talking to kept referring to me as a teen, talking about how I could throw some "awesome high school parties" in the main living room.

I've never seen someone's face turn as red as her's did when I told her how old I was. :P

I'm 33 and look about mid 20's. If I take off my glasses and do a smooth shave, I look a little younger still, tho not so much that people mistakenly think I'm not an adult.

I'm 39 and look like 30. I still get carded occasionally when buying liquor (though Sweden is pretty strict about it).

The issue with threads like these is people always post images of celebrities. Often images of them with some sort of make up on that can affect our perception of their age.

Yup. When I was a teenager I think I thought I'd look a lot worse at nearly 40 than I do. Instead, I look PRETTY MUCH like I did when I was 25. If you look side by side with my first drivers license, it's obvious, but if you look at me next to my second one the only difference is a tiny bit of salt in the pepper of my beard.

My main observations from this thread:

  • Entertainment media has skewed perceptions of what people in their 20s or 30s generally look like because of the practice of having 30 year olds play teenagers and students. You won't look very different in your 30s than in your 20s unless you lead an unhealthy life style.
  • Celebrities with access to professional stylists and make-up artists, plastic surgery, hair transplants, and photo editing look younger than they are. Most of the photos in this thread are people who are covered with several layers of make-up in addition to having had work done on their faces. You'd be surprised what some of these people look like when they wake up in the morning.

He looks about right for 37.

Overall some might not look their age on camera because there is lots of make up involved. In person from skin alone you can tell how old/young someone is.
