Taken in Alaska during a dog-sledding trip.
I've always liked this one. It's from a CP that I worked during one of my deployments to Iraq. It was a beautiful day.

Lived in NYC for 12 years and never went there =\from august, i dunno is it too big?
lol i lived here my whole life and i've been there 3 times. the only time I've gone inside is when I was like 4 and I was too scared to go all the way up. I started making an effort to hit up tourist attractions after an old coworker of mine told me he'd never been in the world trade center despite growing up here as well.
It's easy enough to get to the island but actually getting inside the statue to the crown requires making an appointment months in advance at this point. If anybody just wants to swing by for free the Staten Island Ferry passes close enough for a good look.
I love taking pics, and screwing with them. I don't know if this truly captures the spirit of the thread, but it's what I love to do.
One of the photos I have been most proud of taking. I had this one in my mind for a very long time and to finally take it and have it turn out so well was very satisfying.

I've been thinking about taking some night shots myself and your photo is really inspiring. I really like the composition, it has a great sense of depth.
Thanks! Learning to do night photography and long exposure photography has been a long and arduous process at times, but it's really fun and rewarding.
