This was parked down the bottom of my road the other day.

I have to go around in public and ask random people for their portrait (for an assignment) but I'm not sure where to go. This is going to be so awkward.

Are you in a big city?
I'm near the L.A. area but I hate driving there. I think i'll just go to a park.

I really need to upgrade my body, just going to ISO 800 makes my photos a noisy mess and yours still looks amazing.

Anybody know how to get this effect? I've tried layering two images and just lowering the opacity of the top one but it's not giving me the look i want.

I purchased a Nikon 85mm 1.8G about a month ago with it's primary use being portraits and my kids sports. Today was the first day I was able to really test it in bad indoor lighting and I am very impressed. This is a heavily cropped photo (if only I could afford a 70-200mm f/2.8G) but I am really happy with the results.

Woke up yesterday to see this snowy scene on a nearby hilltop.

Riksgränsen, Sweden. High above the Arctic Circle - it's further north than Nome, Alaska. Taken with my Galaxy 7, I might post some shots from my EOS 700D next week after I get back.
