Don't you live in New York? The comic con should be the go to spot. But the lighting was really bad and inconsistent but overall I had fun but my feet were killing me lol.

I have a job and pretty much refuse to take off from work to be trapped in a dome with a bunch of smelly nerds.Don't you live in New York? The comic con should be the go to spot. But the lighting was really bad and inconsistent but overall I had fun but my feet were killing me lol.
i guess this thread is why the one picture a day thread is always so dead. seems like a waste to have both!
I don't blame you. I was shocked I didn't smell that many bad people while I was at supercon and I live in Miami.I have a job and pretty much refuse to take off from work to be trapped in a dome with a bunch of smelly nerds.
We have a camera discord that nobody fucking posts to.I wish we had a discord or something it would be pretty cool.

Never knew about it lol.
hmm I guess your right.because the threads are active. If the discord were active, there'd be less posting in the thread. Problem that all the sports communities have. Besides, sharing photos is better here in the forum.
The A7RIV has already been confirmed, I know the other is one of the RX series cameras which I don't care about at all. Another seems to be the A6500 replacement using the A7 styled body and new battery and the fourth camera is a question mark.So.. Sony is holding an event tomorrow, widely speculated to be camera releases. Any guesses as to what they're announcing?
I was up that night but completely missed it, feels bad mannman i really should have grabbed some sony gear the other day instead of spending so much time agonizing over what fuji stuff to get. Should have just added it all to cart and been done with it instead of trying to not be too blatant about it. Meh
Which primes. I don't lust after Leica. Photography is too much of a job for me to even want to blow money on that. I would like a Q2, but not at 5 grand.I'm so out of the loop regarding gear since I bought my XT-1 with 3 primes. The only thing I'm always dreaming of is a Leica M at some point...
If I got Leica money then I have GFX money. Leica doesn't add enough over anything I currently have to justify the purchase. Bruh get the 90F2, I fucking love that fucking lens. Get an X-T3, slap the 90F2 on it and it's the best thing since sliced bread.I would buy a Leica just for me, instead of a fast car for example. As both things won't happen, I'm safe lol
I got the 14mm F2.8, 23mm F1.4 and 56mm F1.2. Pretty much my dream setup. Well, I REALLY miss my 135mm F2 Canon I used before with a 5D II. So it's possible I'll get the 90mm, too. (it wasn't released yet when I bought the Fuji)
I don't miss the size and weight of the Canon though lol. That was the main reason I switched, my kids changed everything ;)
Just think of them as X-T1's on steroids with a AF joystick and better AF.Yeah, the 135mm f2 is still my favorite lens I ever used, so I'll keep that in mind :)
How did the XT line improve though? Is it just more megapixels? Because I really really like my XT-1
You would love the new cameras then.Yeah, the AF isn't the best part of the XT-1, that's for sure. Especially with the shallow dof with these lenses wide open. But it's not like the af of the 5D i and ii were any better lol. I got used to it.
They'd have to completely redesign the internals of the camera body for a flippy screen. It's not just a thing you quickly throw in there. If it's not economical they ain't doing it. Period. EVF's are great and quite frankly the true selling point of mirrorless, though with indoor flash work EVF's are a nuisance and quite frankly you have to turn off the exposure preview stuff to even be effective since you can't see shit if you're stopped down too much. The a7RIV looks great, but I don't need or want that kind of resolution. I was also hoping for 60fps 4k and for them to finally make the screen be able to flip around. I have no idea why they are stubborn with that screen design. I'm really glad to see the EVF improving in screen quality. Honesty, the EVF is one of the best things about mirrorless cameras. Being able to clearly see your true exposure and focusing and other details in real time makes an OVF seem ancient in comparison now.
I basically just photograph what catches my eye.How are you guys with photography in the sun?
How you guys feel about it and what you looking for if you're taking photos on a sunny day.
I kind of find it boring and have been avoiding it, but I'm trying to change my mindset about it and start trying to do more photography on sunny days. Got to make the most of the summer days.

I used a Leica M6 with a film scanner for several years before getting my first serious digital camera. I would totally recommend it if you just want to have some fun with a Leica camera. It's probably the my favorite camera ergonomic wise. The new M10 comes close but I don't have six grand.I would buy a Leica just for me, instead of a fast car for example. I often go to gardens or parks, woods, etc and find a shady spot. If you're lucky you can get some dramatic contrasts between foreground light and a dark background.

It's a day to be brave and hunt for shadows! 😁
Thanks for the input. Gonna try this weekend. Unless it's super hot.Another option if you are urban is alleys, tall buildings, anything that generates shadow structure.
Alternatively, shoot in the early morning and late afternoon and spend the hot hours swimming or whatever.
Let me know if you want to meet up or something. Thanks for the input. Gonna try this weekend. Unless it's super hot.
Oh thank god there's good stuff in here. I had like two different styles while I was editing this set.AR203748 is a great combination of skin tones and background colors/textures.

Regarding the first B&W cloud cover just randomly happened while I was taking the picture and jacked up my exposure and I just saw the shadows it created and just rolled with it. It was hot we were tired and we didn't even shoot for too much after this.I think I like the B&W better but the whole set is pretty solid.
I was in Berlin and Munich last year. Would love to do Nurburgring with a telephoto lens. As it is Berlin is a very interesting place to shoot due to the architecture, graffiti and people. It's been one month since I went to Germany and yesterday I finally finished looking at the pictures. I tried to edit them out on Lightroom just for fun and learning sake. Hopefully I did not go overboard.
Colour fits Berlin so I pushed the colours a bit (hopefully not to much). Also I went to watch the 24hr Nurburgring as I am big motorsport fan. Leaving some of these here as well.
I would be happy to receive opinions/advice as I am still kind of a newbie, especially in the editing part.
