gotta have something good about it
Hmmm. I have to say that these companies must have a lot of faith that Google will provide a good gaming experience.
Why?
That new fromsoftware game and Star Wars game werent announced for stadia
Yes but a bad service can compromise the experience. I think that would have a bigger effect than one would think. They have faith Google is providing another revenue stream. How well the tech actually works is on Google. Publishers get to sell the games either way.
The service is no different from how PC/consoles work when it comes to buying games. You just buy a streaming only version. Most of the time Publishers want their games on every platform possible, Stadia is more than capable to support the games.Hmmm. I have to say that these companies must have a lot of faith that Google will provide a good gaming experience.
Well, the game was first announced back in 2017 (I think), and Stadia is recent so I figured it could be hard for it to get the game.
Everyone thinks this is coming out 2020 right? Weird to have such a giant banner for such a late game. Been going to E3 forever and don't really remember seeing banners for games to far out.
Yes but if google fails to provide a good service it can make the games feel bad. It is different in that streaming can make a game feel very bad.The service is no different from PC/consoles work when it comes to buying games. You just buy a streaming only version. They will be soon enough, however as with any new platform some games may come at a later date or be prioritized on the existing userbaseThat new fromsoftware game and Star Wars game werent announced for stadia
They should have been though
Thats on the customer and Google not on them they just provide the codesYes but if google fails to provide a good service it can make the games feel bad. It is different in that streaming can make a game feel very bad.
The publishers don't care its basically just another store for them if it doesn't work its Google who's gonna take the hit not them. They are probably getting paid to take part too its a win win for them.Yes but if google fails to provide a good service it can make the games feel bad. Yeah, but it's not like we didn't get bad versions of games on other platforms, I don't think the publishers care that much about that stuff, as long as they can make money and it's easy enough to get a version ported over, they'll do it.Yes but if google fails to provide a good service it can make the games feel bad. I see your avatar and think I repliedThey have faith Google is providing another revenue stream. How well the tech actually works is on Google. Publishers get to sell the games either way.
that or making a Stadia version is relatively trivial when you're already making a multiplatform game, and it's basically free moneyHmmm. I have to say that these companies must have a lot of faith that Google will provide a good gaming experience.
Still means we could create our own Avenger. I just want a single player action game where we play as the Avengers.Embrace your powers means no playing as simple Shield agent phew

Okay fair enoughYeah, but it's not like we didn't get bad versions of games on other platforms, I don't think the publishers care that much about that stuff, as long as they can make money and it's easy enough to get a version ported over, they'll do it.
The tagline makes me think we'll be creating our own hero as opposed to playing as the avengers.
Going by the recent rumors, it would fit Ms. Marvel (since said rumors mentioned Kamala just recently getting her powers in a post-Avengers world).I really don't want that "make your own hero" crap, i want to play as Thor & Captain Marvel, i love being overpowered.
Stadia games are just a PC game right?Well, the game was first announced back in 2017 (I think), and Stadia is recent so I figured it could be hard for it to get the game.
Just a particular surprise for me. We're still allowed to do that, right?
Hm... Interesting.Going by the recent rumors, it would fit Ms. Marvel (since said rumors mentioned Kamala just recently getting her powers in a post-Avengers world).
There's a listing for a Square Enix game due out May 2020. That's less than a year from now which isn't too far out. I'm excited this is coming out for PS4. Can't wait to get my hands on it and try it out before the next gen consoles come.Everyone thinks this is coming out 2020 right? Weird to have such a giant banner for such a late game. Been going to E3 forever and don't really remember seeing banners for games to far out.
It's like when your finger rips through the toilet paper
Why does Stadia surprise anybody? In my view it's just a variant of PC gaming - the devs don't have to do heaps more work to support it if PC is already on the list. Probably just a matter of agreements on monetization
I believe the rumor was that Ms. Marvel would reassemble the team.Hm... Interesting.
I mean I'm open to it, but with a title like "Marvel's Avengers" I'd kind of like to play as the characters I grew up with :/
Oh really? maybe Stadia will help Vulkan adoption on PC.Stadia ports need to use Linux and Vulkan, PC ports aren't compatible by just dragging and dropping the code over
yups
The games will run on Linux through the Vulkan API and Google already partnered with Unreal and Unity to add support for the Stadia platform to the most popular game development engines.
I'm actually very confused about it. If that's the case then why there's both, the PC and Stadia logos in there?
