Someone has got to be doing this shit intentionally out of a bizarre hatred for The Elder Scrolls VI ever coming out

I hope all this negative press and attention they're finally getting will actually change things over there for the future.

This is actually a massive data breach. Whatever helpdesk and ticketing system they are using, they won't be using it much longer.

That's a brutal comment.

Bugs/mistakes are all too common, especially unexpected ones, but this is a pretty disastrous way to fuck up for Bethesda.

This whole ordeal just stopped being funny. I'm actually worried about the continued existence of Bethesda. And then there's all the customers who have had their information given out... it's a complete mess all around and this could negatively affect a lot of people's lives.

Bethesda would have been better off not releasing this game at all.

Did they leak credit card info? They may have to dish out another 500 atoms for the inconvenience.

I was saying that I am unsure that Fallout 76 would beat out Telltale or Riot for Hottest Mess.

But damnit, they really REALLY want that award.

This is a bigger disaster than Mass Effect Andromeda now.

The hits just won't stop coming.

What? In no universe was Andromeda anywhere CLOSE to what is happening with fallout 76.

Andromeda was completely functional at launch, multiplayer too, and was reviewed decently.

Some bad animations are incomparable to the PR maelstrom Bethesda has been engulfed in with this game. All on top of the game being a reskin broken poorly designed mess.

This must be some kind of viral marketing scheme, there's no way this can even happen with even the most rudimentary ticketing systems.

Just saw this on twitter lol, how does that even happen!!? I mean, should I be worried about other breaches because of this game? Luckily I bought it at Gamestop lol, so at least Bethesda doesnt have my credit card info.

This is just not a great look for them.

We understand and respect that there is disappointment in your personal information being given out to others as a result of submitting a ticket for a canvas Fallout 76 bag, a secure ticketing system was too expensive to make. We aren't planning to do anything about it.

I mean wouldn't you need proof for a lawsuit? Like proof, someone saw your data as in it was visible?

Is it legal for someone to take that info of some random person, info s/he shouldn't even have and contact them, trying to convince them to sue?

I'm sure they'll look into the website, even if just because this is sure to make the news but I'm kinda curious about the approach for legal measures here
