This coming generation is a toss up, but man just goes to show what a watershed moment it was at E3 when MS and Sony came out with dramatically different visions of what the next generation (this current gen) of console wants and needs were. MS - digital rights quagmire multimedia TV box console. Sony - a console for playing games. Good on MS for course correcting though. I sometimes forget how weird the first xbox one was.

Well I sold the original ps4, and the original pro consoles to people who would have bought a ps4 anyway. So it evens out? ;)

And there are still more PS4 exclusives that are still unannounced. Granted, they are probably AA games but they are still going to help drive the platform into the PS5's life.

PS4 has every chance of getting a crazy long lifespan like going to 2025 or something. And it probably has at least a few years of really great games still ahead of it. Not everyone will jump to PS5 right away and there will be a lot of cross-gen games.

Me personally, I bought a PS4 at launch. Then I sold it to buy the FF XV PS4 and then I bought another PS4 for my fiancee. Then, I sold that one to buy her the KH III PS4 Pro. lol
