I actually received an email from Amazon yesterday saying the date had changed with a new placeholder in 2019.

If Spiderman is in the Fall then this could be an intentional hold to give it some space.

Damn... First announced at E3 2016. Are they holding it out in hopes that the zombie craze will come back?

2019 is good, they are releasing too many games this year plus the ones with marketing rights.

I wonder what else is releasing this fall post RDR2. There currently appears to be a giant void and COD has gone and crowded October even further. I am sure we will find out during E3.

Damn it, one of my most anticipated games this year. I guess Sony will be focusing on giving the spotlight to Spider-Man, Dreams, and MediEvil for the holidays

They've never explicitly stated a year I don't think, but this was announced too early imo. Sony Bend have been moving to a new studio as well which I'm sure didn't help.

I figured it wasn't coming out this year. There's no need. Damn, how many years is that going to be now? 3 since announcement?

Not surprised, compared to everything else they've been talking about, this is the game that has lacked a lot of explicit details.

Kind of sad though, Sony's first party was so great March 2015 to January 2017, and it feels like ever since E3 2016 they've just been dragging announcements out. Glad God of War is finally coming out despite not being interested in it.

May be for the best. If they couldn't ship by early September it's best to avoid fall and go for early next year imo.

Well damn, one less game this year.

So only SPiderman and God of War then for the years 2 big titles?

So, by the time this game comes out, it'll be 8 years since their last game.

Come on, Bend.

Not surprising really. Sony have GoW, Detroit, Dreams and Spider-Man this year. They could do with pushing things back for whenever the painful PS5 transition year will be.

Kind of unexpected. Not interested in it all but sucks for those who are interested.

Fall seems exceptionally stacked this year with these nebulous "2018" release dates still lingering so it makes sense. Would be really funny if that World War Z game releases before this though.

A bad game is always bad, a delayed game is eventually bad. Hideo kojima

I really hope this game ends up being amazing
