as someone who was testing their communication timings many, many times, especially throughout 2019, tuesday 6am PST is indeed the most likely time for them to try to communicate something, specifically the 2 wired articles released at this day of the week at this time as well, also the DS4 back buttons at the same time, etc.

Yeah the first wired article IIRC was at around 1 or 2 PM where I live (which is very early on the US).
SIE HQ is in san mateo, but that doesnt matter because they have a global audience, they want the news to hit as many markets as possible, US wakes up, noon-afternoon in europe, evening in japan.

i have already set my own expectations for a late february the earliest for the event tbh so i will be surprised if anything significant will happen today.
that is just the day they usually communicate.
This "joke" could possibly have been a little bit funny by accident if only they had not drastically increased the staff of Japan Studio in recent years making the simple idea of an abandonment, even for joke, totally ridiculous
Normally I find most "leaked info" laughable. Usually it's just a compiled list of what people hope for repackaged as insider info but I cam across this and thought it was worth posting. The screen bloom that cameras usually pick up when too close to the screen makes it slightly less dismissible. And I stress "Slightly." Obviously take this with a cup full of salt or dismiss if it's been posted here already.

I've been to San Mateo office. This display about Japan Studio is exactly the same there but it looks like the same one is also in Japan.
