What about spoiler threads? I noticed there's a Mario Odyssey spoiler thread in the regular gaming forum. Most games are going to end up with an OT and a spoiler thread; these kind of come as a combo.

Was hoping we could keep up the OT as spoiler thread policy but whatever the people want.

Also do our claims from before stick here? I've got a couple of OTs already in the works from before (Justice League and The Last Jedi).

If I want to make a thread specifically about socialism with wide ranging discussion - its history, politics, ideologies, etc. - should that be considered an OT thread in hangouts or a thread in etcetera? It would be different from PoliGAF since that's broader and more focused on current events.

Hello everyone, first post, I noticed there's still no Star Wars OT yet. I don't know if anybody from the old OT has arrived and I don't want to make a thread out of line (especially since I have no fancy graphics for the first post), should I make it anyway, or are they coming later?

and they still wont show is there a rule about where they are hosted from or something? trying to link from imgur

Yeah I've got a similar question. The old Touhou Community thread on GAF never got moved over to Community, presumably because of how slow it was (we had like, only 30+ pages over three years, and like 2/3rds of those pages were from the first year/first few months).

Would a new Touhou Community thread on this forum need to be made in Hangouts instead?

Is this just for EtcetEra stuff? Would be a bit odd to have OTs for new games in Community/Hangouts, I think? Or I just need to get used to that! Perhaps it actually makes very much sense.
