I'm only 22 so I imagine most of this stuff is still too recent for anyone else to have nostalgia for but the mars mission product line still holds up in terms of design imo

I loved this thing as a kid. I never got my ED-209, or Aliens Powerloader, but this was close enough. I played with it so much, and had to buy a second to replace the first.

I think Ninjago City is my favourite. The Creator line Roller Coaster is one of my favourites too. It's massive, but looks great and kid me always wanted Lego to release a roller coaster set. The build could be repetitve, but I love the way it looks next to the ferris wheel.

On a related note, I haven't built it, but I really like the idea and the look of the smaller, Pirate-themed Creator rollercoaster, as well.

So many memories from the sets in this thread. I can't recall a specific one being my favorite as I used to just disassemble them after a few weeks and make something new combined with my other materials. Though I kept a bad guy lair/island around for a long time. Can't find it but it was black/gray/red themed IIRC.

I'm also just now realizing what a fortune my parents must've spent on Lego.

Lots but my current favorite is still the Roller Coaster.

Bumping this thread.

I'm falling down a Lego Blackhole.

About a month ago I randomly saw this one on Ebay.

And knew I had to have it. We just moved into a new house so i bought it right before we moved and me and the kids built it.
We had a mini vacation in CA and went to downtown Disney one night and as i perused the Lego Store i bought this.

When we got back to AZ my 5 and 10 year olds helped put it together while watching Tron. They all picked out sets too. I almost got the Yoda set by my 13 year old said his eyes were creepy.
On craigslist i searched Lego and came across this one.

And talked them down to $120. We haven't started it yet.
And finally I noticed Target was having a Lego sale but not on most the pricier ones. But saw this and I do love Keanu.

Luckily (or unluckily) the others i want are "retired" and cost a ridiculous amount of money. Like the Keaton Batmobile or the Ecto 1.
Now I just need Lego to do Vehicle Force Voltron.
