Do Admins get paid or nah? I feel like there's quite a bit of money generated from ads so I'm curious if they are compensated?

Thanks for all your work, Cerium. You were always kind to me when I was an admin, which I always appreciated, so I thank you for that.

And congrats, B-Dubs, I wish you all the luck with the site.

what is the hierarchy of Era as an organization? Is General Manager essentially CEO, or are there higher up positions or others who share this title. Just curious as it doesn't seem as though there is a way to find this out and tags here are usually comical in nature or vague.
As General Manager I'll be running the site in all its particulars, and I'll be in charge of the staff. The hierarchy, to the extent that it exists, can be found on the staff roster.

When the site was created there were multiple owners, but they left and sold their shares to Cerium. He'll still own the site and take care of logistics on that end.

The site staff are all volunteers, mods and admins. Some of the more specialized work is compensated, and that's always been the case.

Is the GM position a volunteer role or a compensated specialist?

Thanks to all of you who do a mostly thankless job. This is a pretty great community and I love stuff like giftbot that lets me build up good karma here and there
