I don't really find sales talk pointless for most things but I really do find it pointless for Pokemon since it'll always sell lol. 10 mil vs 20 mil *yawn*
they announced the date the same time they showed this years game. Im not sure where you're getting this as a response to backlash (is there even backlash outside of resetera?)
There are a few raised eyebrows and smaller concerns but calling it backlash would be a lie.
Not to mention they specified when they announced Let's Go that it wasn't the game that they mentioned at E3 last year, Gen 8 was.
Glad to see more details on the Gen 8 games, the shitshow that's Let's Go has me 151% unexcited. Def skipping that filler nonsense and I'm more excited for the 2019 games now.

calling a developer shit and fabricating a waiting game based on misinformation and contradicting evidence is exactly what that is.
And I think they're doing it the wrong way. Being more contemporary in its gameplay and presentation would do a hell of a lot more than what Let's Go is doing
