In 2 hours it will be midnight so I can interact with you but I don't know about you. How do timezones work with friendship in this game? Will you hit Best Friends in 2 hours as well?
As long as that blue halo around my portrait is gone, that means you can do a new interaction for the day.

Go fest spawns. I'm still seeing them, but just a lot of different spawns coming up.
Still getting quite a bit of them. Here it's Alolans mixed in with Kanto Geo/Grimer/Spoink/Karp/Shrew/Drowzee/Kabuto/Aron and Nidoran here and there. And if you missed Slakoth day... there's actually not thát many spawns of it over here, but def. not complaining about that.
Guess my area is just unlucky for now. Like between the two I only seem to be seeing Kanto Diglett.
There's definitely a mix going on yeah, also seeing a few Kanto ones. But it's also in the list of habitat boosted spawns you see here: https://pokemongohub.net/post/news/breaking-news-roundup-go-fest-dortmund/
I remember in the early months of the game Diglett was one of the species I never saw in the wild and it took me a long time to even get a Dugtrio... flash forward to now where I have both shiny fams and 1000+ candy
Let me see if the halo goes away when it hits 4pm and I'll let you know if you can open a gift.
Pretty sure it won't disappear on his side but your opening a gift will still increase the friend level regardless.

I know it didn't work for go fest, but I'm still going to save my shiny Eevee encounter for when Eevee w/ flower comes back worldwide. I honestly have little reason to open it up anytime soon, so I can wait it out to see it works or not.
Oh wow... Armored Mewtwo looks like a mess. Looking at the screen, it's type is still Psychic only. I wonder if the moveset will be different or anything.
Was there a raised shiny chance the other day? I caught my first two shinies ever (alolan rattata and alolan executor).

Damn, I was hoping they'd do a Giratina by bringing back normal Mewtwo for a week and then add Armored Mewtwo for the rest of the month. Sounds like Armored Mewtwo is a weaker form.
Lame, apparently Wave 3 of Yokohama Go Fest "tickets" went out yesterday. Sat, Sun, and Mon are all sold out. Bleh. Monday was the only day I could go.

Well it is the slakoth Community-Day for Euro folks after all. They are doing another 3 days of the CD day because of the technical problems they had back then. You can also evolve it now and get Bodyslam.
Yeah, it was just weird yesterday when they were frequent around lunchtime, then rare as the Go Fest spawns took over.
Must be hard to balance 3 events occurring at once.
Yeah, it really feels like a Frankenstein event right now lol. Also strange that they seemed to have changed the alolan geodudes with regular ones for some kind of reason.

I'm still seeing both, but it's cause the Go Fest is bringing Kanto Geodudes.
Though I want more Alonana Pokemon, would have been better if they stopped that event, at least temp, to help out this event lol
Wow, I'm inundated with Slakoths but I've yet to see a shiny. (Not really that bummed about it though, shiny Slaking looks quite underwhelming)
tbh it feels like they didn't put much thought into the Slakoth redo timing. This is silly!

I'm impressed you're finding Nidoran spawns. Out here you get them every once and a while through the day.
Unfortunately you have to do a lot of quests hoping for a random Nidoran encounter and stay away from parks/nests.
