Interesting but that makes sense for monetization
If Niantic actually wants to be smart about this and avoid backlash, they will allow you to choose what kind of lure you want to set when you use the general one.
I'll trade you my luck, Since January it's been Raikou/Entei nonstop. 😭

My adventure sync hasn't been working for weeks and it's been really frustrating me, came in here and realised it might be because I turned battery saver on, doh.

Besides hoping for an any distance trade event, the more realistic strategy is to add IRL friends that travel. I know a couple that goes to Europe nearly every year. They play and make an effort to catch regionals, but not frequently enough to get every legendary available everywhere, so I'm building up to level 4 friends with them. I don't think I'll ever know players that frequent Africa though.
If you're driving or actively doing something with your time and not playing PoGo, you wouldn't catch them anyways. Don't use the go-tcha when you're actively playing the game.

I caught a Detective Pikachu on one account, but nothing has shown up on the other. Seems like it's only once per day with similar spawn behavior as Smeargle.
To be sure, on that other account you didn't enter and exit photo mode without taking a photo, right?
Yeah, I went in, hit the photo button a few times, exited, and then went back to the world map. Nothing popped up.
On my first account, D.Pikachu didn't even show up in the photo, but spawned on the world map.
Got my Pepto Bismol Aipom almost instantly. I don't have shiny Snubbull or Psyduck, so I can use the spawns to hunt for them.
The event quests are pretty lame, especially to have around for 10 days. I'll take easy Magikarp quests (still want a perfect), but the other rewards are blah.

Yeah and the new raids are pretty weak too. I was really hoping for Mewtwo to liven the raid scene up but nope.
I'm actually surprised they didn't put out Mewtwo but maybe they'll do it for the movie opening weekend?

Yeah, kinda lame. Though, I think it's certain that Mewtwo will return when the other movie, "Mewtwo Strikes Back" comes out in July.
Well at least we're in the same country - I have a number of lucky friends who are in the US which is a lot less likely

Yeah like the ground event for earth day def had boosted rates, this is just new shiny + boosted spawns.
The UK is pretty small. We'll probably run into each other in Tesco.
The weather today was absolutely dreadful. Rain, hale and thunder, so yes I got a shitload of XP and Stardust today thanks to the Go-tcha. No shinies but that's to be expected. Got home so wet I evolved into a water Pokemon.

Also has anyone else had more issues reconnecting their GO+ lately? It takes at least three times pressing the button in the app for it to find my device and I keep having to completely remove it and repair.

I have had problems with the Pokeball Plus. It will say its connected in game but its not connected to the ball.
