I went for a walk after the announcement and when I came back, I checked for the Japanese hashtag, I was surprised to see a lot of fanarts already, they work so fast haha.
Anyway the 3 starters are beautiful and I want to see more of them!

This is always the best part about a new gen being announced, also fan artists do a great job at making you warm up to the starter designs if you weren't completely loving em at first

I said it in the main thread, but I love that the starters have so much personality, and look unique. Gen 8 played it way too safe in the "generic cute animal" department with the starters IMO.

There is nothing else like fan-art to sell the Pokémon designs. They always manage to make the Pokémon more appealing than what was initially presented.
