Now I want to see if it's possible to reproduce the first Gym Leader sweep in other games with a freshly caught SE Pokemon.
Not until or unless there is a change in leadership.HGSS and BW2 were pretty much the pinnacle of the series and it genuinely saddens me that the games will probably never hit those heights again.
You could've done it in Gen 1 by choosing Bulbasaur or Squirtle and only using them. Now I want to see if it's possible to reproduce the first Gym Leader sweep in other games with a freshly caught SE Pokemon.

The trainer battle theme and the wild battle theme are legitimately the worst in the franchise.god even the music is disappointing me
what the fuck. that was like the one thing i never expected.
Cool, glad you get to play the way you would like to while I don't. Not really sure who it would harm if I had the option to turn it off.
Yeah, cool. I don't see what point you're trying to make to me, especially since you didn't have your way of playing removed, lol. That's going to happen, with any series. Super Mario 3D World had Mario missing a number of the things people associated with Mario's movement. Galaxy took a very different approach to level design that led to 3D Mario being subdivided into different categories, with it and 3D World representing one style, and Odyssey representing Mario 64 style. There will never be another Mario title that blends both sorts of sensibilities, and one may be more prolific on a platform or go into retirement for a long period of time. There certainly isn't a course based 3D Mario title on Switch, regardless.
Either way, there's something to be said for adapting. But I made my case, and I'll move on.
The entire point is not using something. I doubt a Bulbasaur or Squirtle that never saw combat would sweep Brock in three turns. You could've done it in Gen 1 by choosing Bulbasaur or Squirtle and only using them.
Nah they're great. I've listened to rips online and they're good. At least the trainer theme was.The trainer battle theme and the wild battle theme are legitimately the worst in the franchise.

Whoa, how'd I miss this?! That's HUGE!Rapid Spin giving a speed boost is going to shake up the meta for sure. Excited to see the impact of that.
They admitted defeat to mobile without even trying.BW2 was amazing. I don't understand what happened. They've gone backwards and regressed on nearly everything those games did.
An example of a game that appeals to children and has some semblance of challenge?
Yeah, cool. I don't see what point you're trying to make to me, especially since you didn't have your way of playing removed, lol.
Too underleveled and doesn't like mud-slap and also doesn't have thundershock until level 10 (of course with a little nourishment it'll be ok)
I was just told by a friend who is watching a stream that you're limited to only be able to catch Pokemon up to a certain level and if it is above that too bad. So.. if you run across a shiny but it is 1 level above what the game permits you to catch it's a case of "too fucking bad"?
I'm sorry but that is by far the worst game decision they've made, forget dexit, forget the mandatory exp share, you can get to way above the expected level of the area with barely any effort and we're also going to allow Pokemon way above your expected level to show up, but too bad can't catch them because that'd break the game?

Wait seriously? Can someone else confirm this?I was just told by a friend who is watching a stream that you're limited to only be able to catch Pokemon up to a certain level and if it is above that too bad. Voice acting isn't needed and a desire for it is subjective, so calling that laughable isnt a valid complaint.animations are from 3DS era, lack of voice acting is laughable and it's just weird
in fan art, or the game itself?
I HATE Game Freak's cutscene direction so much still.
Three people.
Standing still
In an empty, completely static environment.
We need a cutscene I guess.
Why.
Just a reminder that he's been playing for about three hours and we've seen 7/15 routes or dungeons in the game
If a shiny clip of that happening goes viral then for the first time in ever Pokemon might actually catch enough flack to change something.I was just told by a friend who is watching a stream that you're limited to only be able to catch Pokemon up to a certain level and if it is above that too bad. Minecraft isn't and for years, it didn't have any kind of tutorial, you would just start the game with nothing telling you the controls, what you are supposed to do, what you can do, etc. It's still of the most popular games among kids ever
I get that, I just don't get your point, lol.I gave you examples of games that excluded one way of playing and were nonetheless well received, even without guarantee that those things would be present in another title.
The trainer battle theme and the wild battle theme are legitimately the worst in the franchise.
Eevee Serebbi still repeats that statement, along with Dynamax models being wholly original, and not just upscale versions of regular models. You'd be surprised at the amount who legitimately thinks otherwise
Literally no Pokemon game is that long. Main story is usually like 15-20 hours.Fucking hell.
Is this game not 30-35 hours for the main story like other Pokemon games?
