You can tho? Just have to open it? it's not different to the 3ds where I had to replace the analog bc of the driftDon't get a lite, once those joycons start to drift you can't replace them.

Fucking hell. It hurts."The new title coming out in the second half of 2019 will be a completely different game [from Pokémon Let's Go]. It is not an entry game, but a game that we want longtime fans of the Pokémon series to look forward to."

Era 401: Difficulty not found
Ohhhhhh, he was talking about Astral Chain. It all makes sense now."The new title coming out in the second half of 2019 will be a completely different game [from Pokémon Let's Go]. It is not an entry game, but a game that we want longtime fans of the Pokémon series to look forward to."

Can you use regular joycons for spare parts though? Sounds complicated. You can tho? Just have to open it? it's not different to the 3ds where I had to replace the analog bc of the drift
I'm looking forward to SwSh and Let's Go is the first Pokémon game I've skipped so checks out in my book."The new title coming out in the second half of 2019 will be a completely different game [from Pokémon Let's Go]. I was so, so excited about this game when t was first announced at E3 2017. *Sigh*
Can we get a new Colosseum/XD please? Heck even a new Battle Revolution would be good.
Do you have a reason to post here except to go to bat for these games?
pretty much where I'm at. I've got this preloaded, but this will likely be the last time I don't just buy used if it's as bad as it sounds and they don't make an effort to course correctI hope that gen 9 is amazing to make up for this "transitional gen." Otherwise Sword seemed primed to be the last Pokémon game I'll get at launch. I'm hesitant to even get any potential gen 4 remake to be honest. I'm kind of hoping for some kind of day 1 patch to fix some minor issues, but I know it probably won't do much and it won't fix a lot of my underlying pre-release complaints with these games. Did the GTS stuff ever get resolved, or are people still thinking that it'll be in Home?
It was nice to be hopeful for those few months until E3."The new title coming out in the second half of 2019 will be a completely different game [from Pokémon Let's Go]. It is not an entry game, but a game that we want longtime fans of the Pokémon series to look forward to."

They use the same analogs which you can buy in aliexpress for like a dollarCan you use regular joycons for spare parts though? Sounds complicated.
Perfect.
This is the third generation now with the same approach to leveling and experience. The linear route design has been in place since BW. I don't understand why you think these things will suddenly have the tide turn against them to the point it affects future installments when trends suggest otherwise.
And everyone has the right to post here and respond to what other people have to say

Things have fundamentally changed in the game's development though. They did not have to work at all on over half of the Pokemon, so they should've had more time to make it less linear, and they definitely should not have taken away the toggle. This is the third generation now with the same approach to leveling and experience. I remember being faced with this quote whenever I complained about LGPE. good times"The new title coming out in the second half of 2019 will be a completely different game [from Pokémon Let's Go]. He's been doing their bidding basically ever since they threatened to take down his site due to him posting some spoilers.Wait so he's dealing with TPC directly!?
That explains so much.
The annoying part is that from what I've seen all they'd need to do is add an option to turn off the Exp. Share and tweak some of the levels and it being fine. Like, having a rival battle with four Pokemon after the second gym is great, but it's not if it's stupid easy because your is over-levelled.
Generation 4's base games being the worst in the entire series is entirely why i'm hesitant to touch anything after this game. The pacing issues in that game coupled with the seemingly nonexistent difficulty curve in Sw/Sh being brought over to that game would be disastrous.I hope that gen 9 is amazing to make up for this "transitional gen." "but I can see the backlash being big enough to affect gen 9." =/= "this will definitely 100% hurt sales"
It's just speculation. You said you would stop engaging in arguments in these threads but here we are.
This could be barely acceptable if it weren't the first HD mainline console game. People have the right to be disappointed. Don't wanna be too mad tho otherwise we're just toxic, right?
while I 100% agree, it would make pokemon, if only slightly harder, and as we can see nintendo doesnt want that.If they really wanted to shake things up, they should have made the majority of battles doubles. At least that would almost prepare people for VGC rules. Most of the MAX moves are built around doubles.
This is a public place and he can post whatever he wants about a game that looks terrible. If it bothers you that much, stop checking for his posts."but I can see the backlash being big enough to affect gen 9." =/= "this will definitely 100% hurt sales"

What a bunch of empty PR speak. Jesus."The new title coming out in the second half of 2019 will be a completely different game [from Pokémon Let's Go]. It is not an entry game, but a game that we want longtime fans of the Pokémon series to look forward to."

Frankly to me Sword and Shield was a test to see if they should keep making games for the "veterens". Which they marketed SS as compared to Let's Go, now they know that's failed and the hardcore Pokemon fans hate them, there is no reason to make a game for them. Make it for the Casuals. I don't agree with this but it's likely the conculsion i can see GF coming to after this whole mess
The top-tier pokemon designs is the only thing stopping me from not buying this game tbh. Bless James Turner

The only thing I dont have a problem with is the designs.I'm this close to canceling my pre-order. It's not even Dexit at this point, the game itself just sounds like shit now.
I've only seen a very small handful of the leaked Pokemon up until now (i'm playing with fire by checking this thread, but I don't care). Y'all think the game would be worth it just for getting to see them all for the first time?
