They did say some Pokemon will chase you down so I can see this being an obstacle you have to get past.Imagine if they went the Xenoblade route and have High level pokemon all over so you have to avoid them, that would definitely make the world seem more alive.
S&S looks noticeably better across the board.Look at some pictures of Dragon Quest 8 running through PCSX2 at 1080p and then look at S&S. Even if you think S&S looks better, it wouldn't be by much at all. Graphically it's incredibly underwhelming, no two ways about it.
Still remember how people doubted me after the first trailer about the "BoTW" thing although it was what i heard not what i saw.
This looks way better than the first trailer and a big step forward for Pokemon games.
Awful lol. Same guy who did the box arts ?
How is the wild area going to be done if there are fully evolved mons just chilling from the start?
So a mixture of Random encounters and roaming Pokemon is in this game along with the raids?
I'm guessing there's a cloud above and the entire area is in shadow. The tree should have darker area under it though.
Knowing GF they will likely make it hard to get Pokemon like Tyranitar, espeically early on.The thing I don't like about the Wild Area (already complaining lol) is that I know for aesthetic purposes it looks great that Pokémon such as Tyranitar or Milotic appear, but I've always felt that it's kinda lame that you can catch fully evolved Pokémon that easily. I think those Pokémon should only be obtained through evolving or trading.
If you need an emulator to make a PS2 game look better then I your entire claim falls apart.Look at some pictures of Dragon Quest 8 running through PCSX2 at 1080p and then look at S&S. Even if you think S&S looks better, it wouldn't be by much at all. Graphically it's incredibly underwhelming, no two ways about it.
very cool, this could become the best Pokemon game ever. The "Wild Area" is just one area. It's large, but there's only one.
the website makes it sound like one area that can be accessed from almost anywhere since it's in the middle. once again, why does it matter if it is 1 or 1000 if the size is huge? (we don't know how big it will be)When did we get confirmation that the "wild area" is just the one area? The VO made it sound like it is all the open areas between ANY of the cities.
Did we even confirm this or are people just assuming? Tried to go through the thread for answers, but it is moving too fast.
Yea but they're both a kilogram
I'm talking in a sense that she will end up being a villain.
I thibk we need to wait and see, Pokemon games are typically easy and have a children auficience to consider. They could easily have said something like that about mega evos. I suppose raids might also support that but again, I think we need to wait and see, perhaps those raid pokemon will be stronger because I don't see why one person using the dyna Raichu couldn't just beat it themselves.Except its literally not. You can easily beat trainers with Mega Evolution without being forced to use it yourself, whereas considering the way they talked about it, with Dynamaxing, if you're opponent uses it, you better use it to or else your screwed. That's terrible design.
Yeah. Maybe in tall grasses you can't see them. That would be cool.Other images have shown non-Wild Area locations with roaming Pokemon. Such as Route 1
