People complaining about the $30 price: How would ya'll have felt if they just announced "Pokemon Armor" and "Pokemon Tundra" and sold them as their own $60 games featuring these content exclusive to each version. Better?
For sword and shield, not each dlc pack within the expansion pass.
It's so like Nintendo to be 5 years behind, what with releasing incomplete games and charging for DLC to complete the experience.
Wait you need both base games if you want both expansions? What the fuck kind of bullshit is that?
Gotcha, my mistake.it did not. torna got a physical version, but there's no version with game+dlc.
Ahh, we're back to the old strawman nonexistent poster who thought SwSh wouldn't do crazy good like every other pokemon game. No, the base games will still be underwhelming, but this might make up for them. I'm not preordering a game from Gamefreak again though. I'm waiting to see how this actually turns outSo after this direct does someone still think that SwSh is nintendoomed?
Well to be fair some of that stuff should've been in the woefully incomplete base game. Not the isles but the Pokémon and other customization stuff.Thought this looked great and impressed that GameFreak are moving with the times. Wondered how some people were spinning this to actually be awful, Era never disappoints.
No he will insist that it was all one big game that they decided to split. And then he will run out of arguments and say that we are all fanboys that buy everything that says Pokemon so there's no point discussing with us.No, this $30 expansion pass replaces a potential $60 3rd version.
Why would you pay that total?Am I nuts or are people excited to pay $90 USD total for content that should've been a base Pokemon game
Its better then spending $120 like normalAm I nuts or are people excited to pay $90 USD total for content that should've been a base Pokemon game
ulty pls
It's two expansions, so when it says 30 each, I'm going to assume they mean 30 for Isles of Armor, and 30 for The Crown Tundra.
Nintendo =/= Gamefreak...and you must've missed Nintendo releasing DLC for years now on complete gamesIt's so like Nintendo to be 5 years behind, what with releasing incomplete games and charging for DLC to complete the experience.
Of course, nintendoomed = prints money after allSo after this direct does someone still think that SwSh is nintendoomed?
Fair point.
technically $150. As there are slight differences in the versions. I dont know if you can play both versions with just one license of the dlc either.LMAO $90 for the full Sw/Sh experience...and people are going to eat it up!
Yes, the Sword version or the Shield version.
You buy "Expansion Pass" that contain 2 part.
Well, they aren't out yet so it remains to be seen. I'm excited, but I also thought Gamefreak was moving with the times with SwSh until I played it...Thought this looked great and impressed that GameFreak are moving with the times. Wondered how some people were spinning this to actually be awful, Era never disappoints.
No each expansion gets you both parts but only for one version. If you want to upgrade both Sword and Shield you need two passes. It's two expansions, so when it says 30 each, I'm going to assume they mean 30 for Isles of Armor, and 30 for The Crown Tundra.
I am getting expansion pass on both sword and shield but I can still express my frustration.LOL are you really interested in the games or you just here to bash?
Yeah, with the removal of the GTS it will be a smooth experience for sure.Tradeable mons without having the expansion is something at least.
Yeah whatever, I'll wait for a used 3rd version or just never play it.
It's two expansions, so when it says 30 each, I'm going to assume they mean 30 for Isles of Armor, and 30 for The Crown Tundra.
Yes, the Sword version or the Shield version.
Either purchase contains both DLCs. Otherwise they wouldn't be calling this an Expansion Pass with a Part 1 and Part 2.
Yeah sorry I misread what the original post said. I thought they meant $30 for both passes. My bad.
