I'm in to it. I probably won't play Masters but as a fan it's cool to see all the models and animations.
Not super bothered about playing this due to the GACHA.
But it will be cool to see 3D Models of the old trainers at least.

As long as it's not "Available the middle of August", I don't mind when it's out :p
this game will probably have a roster more limited than SS. maybe some pokemon packs with each major update, but since this is human character focused, they can reduce the number of pokemon
Considering the pokemon are tied to their trainer, I doubt it will even have more than 100 Pokemon.
Each Pokémon needs to be accompanied by a unique model of a trainer. Even though there may be for example several Brock (One with Geodude and another with Onyx), each of them will need different skins and textures although they can reuse part.

Yeah, I expect each character to only be tied to one or two Pokémon and much of the gacha to also be tied to level
With how many characters did Fire Emblem Heroes released? And they use very simple 2D models.

We'll even likely get Gen 8 characters after launch of SWSH too
Heroes launched with around 100. This is totally gonna have way less then it.
