Those Raid 71 Akira prints I swear I look at the image and the composition and I wonder what in the hell people are even looking at. The foil is gaudy and ugly. I do really still love his color choice with the sky line but really that's like the same shit he's done over and over with countless other prints from other properties.

Half the time I just really don't like his composition. The foil is just the thing that stands out the most. Like if you could have one part of the print be reflective and you chose the damn crosswalk on the street. I see that next to the print that James Jean released and it's like that is the version that he did in an hour while juggling 15 other projects. I think I'm jumping out of a commission he shit is just not appealing to me. That Stan Lee piece he did too? Amateurish.

I was really only aware of them because of how many artists I follow on Instagram. Only a few weeks until D Con now. Sorta excited for a few of the booths. I heard Static is gonna be bringing some older art prints. I hope there aren't too many hype beasts there to buy up everything.

Yeah, the jpg is brutally dark (not sure what the actual print looks like) and the concept is okay but focuses on something so small to the film, if that makes sense. The idea for the print may have been cool initially, but nobody would look at that and think A Quiet Place without the title being there.

I def like Death Opens No Door more. What in the hell is that other one? Terrifying. The Quiet Place print is hilarious lol. The perspective looks so fucked up with that pickup truck. Even the small as title text seems off placed and possible too small.
