Sounds like every other mediocre album nakedly chasing the Spotify streaming algorithim goldmine.
You don't like those producers? I mean that's exactly what people seem to want from modern pop acts.
I mean most people here and other places seemed to dislike most of the "new" Taylor Swift. I think most St. Vincent fans prefer her old material which is probably why she re-recorded songs using less electronics. The Mark Ronson/Diplo shit is the best sounding shit Mark Ronson has done in years. Working with good producers is like the only thing pop stars can do. What else do they have? They aren't writing this shit on their own.
I get it but I feel like Pop music is much much much less guilty of this than rap. I mean Mark Ronson hasn't even produced songs on that many albums. I don't even know Andrew Wyatt outside of being the dude who sings for Miike Snow. If it was the other dude who wrote all the Britney Songs who performs as Galantis then I guess I get it. At least with pop music they will show up and work with the artist. With rap music it's literally random ass beats that someone is picking from hundreds like it's shopping for templates.
He's over. I wonder how the rest of 1D's second albums will do. Nial Horan might do fine. Harry Styles is a mystery.
